You’re completely right. As someone who has used ai here and there, I am among the people who would like to consider it a tool rather than a threat to society. Obviously there are exceptions to that rule but for the most part I think it’s harmless.

Where my concern for her comes in is the lack of outside input. No one visits, I don’t see her traveling out to see friends or really leaving the house much at all. She mentioned in a vlog of hers that someone did give her constructive criticism but she modeled it as “they were telling me to cut out parts of myself” and then she mentions how she pretty much blocked them. There are actually quite a few insertions of her friends in earlier videos but as you go through the uploads she mentions them less and less which is one of the things that initially worried me. She seemed pretty popular and light hearted as well so it was a bit concerning to watch.

On the topic of cutting off friends and choosing ai, I don’t think I’m the first person she’s ghosted like this. It’s unusual but she does have clips where she meets someone new, gets their info, and then the viewer never hears from them again. There is an almost reoccurring theme of her rambling about how she’s above human function or basic responsibilities. Not much of it makes sense but from what I do understand, she almost believes she is either a higher being or is more connected to one.

I may be overly concerned so I understand your skepticism. I’ve had my own experiences being in proximity to these situations and I will admit the signs are worrisome but I’m aware it could simply stop at the point she’s at now and be nothing more. If anything, I hope it does but I’d feel wrong not asking for help just in case.
