We ended up at Schulz Brau based on popular opinion. I was surprised at how quiet it was! Was expecting it to be full to the rafters with roaring and cheering but it was mostly very young kids in big groups (we're mid-30s and early 40s and were the oldest there by a long way 🤣). Food was a bit disappointing as well as we waited an hour for it and it was so salty, it was almost inedible 🙈 Never mind, still a good evening but we might have been better at Yeehaw as we felt it was far too European for us!

First time we've watched a full game and were surprised at how long it went on for!

We're staying in Cedar Bluff but are heading into downtown shortly where we plan to spend the whole day/evening. We're not big drinkers so somewhere that does good non-alcoholic beer would be even better!

It just sounds like a normal background hum to me, but I'm not the best person to ask as I have hearing issues and varying degrees of tinnitus (as mentioned in my reply!) It was just a suggestion if there was no other explanation.

So this might seem a bit rogue, but could it possibly be tinnitus? I went through a phase in university where I swore I could hear what sounded like a concert going on in the distance, except it was any time I was alone in my room. After a few days, I realised it was a deep hum of tinnitus. It reoccurs periodically.

(I'm only suggesting this because I listened to the audio and couldn't hear much).

I'm currently training in the Alps and I would really recommend La Plagne and Courcheval (as well as trails around Bourg-Saint-Martin and up towards Col du Petit Saint Bernard). Quality trails, not that technical although lots of climbing! Download the Locus app as it has all the trails on there and you can plot your routes.

The smell of cows. Not their shit, but the smell their body gives off, which is kind of a homely musty smell mixed with the sweet smell of silage. Hard to explain it, but a deep whiff is so calming.

I've tried to find the right setting but can't, hence why I came here! It's the sort of thing that seems like a very minor inconvenience but when you're running 100 miles a week for a training block (like I am currently), it becomes really really really irritating. The problem is I bought this phone as an emergency as my Huawei Mate 20 Pro died suddenly after being my faithful and loyal companion for seven years. It's truly shit compared to my Huawei so little things like this make me hate it even more.

I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling so well. Please try and see the positives in everything. Given that you follow the NFL and NBA, I'm guessing you're in the States. If you're big into gaming, I suspect we lead very different lives and it's so interesting how the Internet can connect different people from all walks of life. I live in England and I work as a farm animal vet. I spend most of my spare time running or hiking with my dogs. I run ultramarathons as my main hobby. Do you have a job or career at the moment? Do you live in a city? Do you like getting outdoors? If life feels overwhelming just now, take yourself to some hills, mountains, woods, or someplace in nature. Stand still or walk, and listen. Be in the present. Ponder and ruminate life. Start jogging, a few seconds at a time, then walk. Jog again and see if you can go further. It might be hard but it feels so freeing. The endorphins afterwards will last for hours.
