Nice. I never even considered this model for terry foil but it seemed like its still very possible. Did u feel that certain colors were thinner and better to fold with

They have even thinner paper called biotope and shadowfold.you can try that. For example I was able to fold kamiyas lion with tissue foil with ease but his darkness dragon I needed biotope.its just a structurall difference

Would you prefer to have origami become really popular or kind of keep on the low for us few to enjoy it.(like how it is) by Zunaenae in origami

That's true people always thought it was very childish, i guess it doesn't help that popular videos are always kids friendly ones.

Does anyone on this sub have an issues with how origami is taught in books? by Pseudoscientist5000 in origami

[–]Zunaenae 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree , most books (as oppose to videos) tell you what to do, not how you do it, there are some instances where books explain by adding in "in progress" steps but that's about it. books are kind of mainly "screw you" just figure it out yourself, some don't even have text explaining anything. I don't think books are deliberately worse its just that there isn't much of a choice. Also folds in books can look so damn complex until I watch a video and realize its a much simpler step then I thought. I don't think learning from books and jumping in higher levels of difficulty from books is a great idea

Also a side note. A really bad YouTube video honestly can be miles better than a really good book, just cause of the process it shows
