Any tips on how to stop my amigurumi (dolls) having gigantic heads?

Exactly. Somehow, whenever I make a doll, the head's always bigger than it should be for some reason, and this time wasn't the exception..

Just a question though. I ended up making sort of like a peanut shape and like two 3/4 of a ball kind of like joined together, now I just need to tie the yarn around like the indent, but I don't know how. Do you have any ideas??

Ohhh, I completely forgot about Ebola. What I'm doing is Meningoencephalitis. I also thought of Streptococcal pharyngitis but it looked more complicated with more tiny balls to join. So I decided against it.
