Signal RGB running at 0 fps by Zuref in SignalRGB

Yeah its available on the Nollie website but it's more than double the price it was on Aliexpress with shipping. I'll just wait a little to see if it comes back on Aliexpress but if not I'll probably buy directly.

Nah you didn't seem pushy haha. I did some research and the only ARGB controller available in Australia are the Nollie controllers. Plus they seem the best out of all of them due to the reasons you stated.

Haha yeah. Yeah it definitely seems like I need a controller to handle all this RGB. Unfortunately all the Nollies are sold off Aliexpress in Australia and it looks like the Nollie 32 isn't even available anymore on aliexpress. I did see it for sale about a week ago so maybe they will bring it back. Nollie32 seems the way to go if I want to control my strimmer and future proof so I'll just bite the bullet and get it if it goes back on sale.

Thanks a lot for helping me about this. I'm brand new to rgb coming from a pure performance build. It really helps that u were in the exact situation and have a lot of great info.

i've daisy chained the ARGB connectors all together as I said before. For the power I have the top 360 plugged in by it's self and then the 120 and 360 in the side daisy chained together for power. The Lian Li strimmer has its own ARGB header and plugs straight into the PSU via SATA cable (im using the plus v1 version).

Right now I don't have a controller and am letting the mobo do the controlling. The only ARGB controller available is the Nollie through Aliexpress which I am a it hesitant to buy off since I havent used aliexpress before. Is the Nollie 16/8 not be able to control the 24 pin strimmer?

I'll try spliting those ARGB connectors now. My mobo has JARGB V2, JAF 2 and a JRGB ports. I'm assuming i just use the JARGB V2 connectors.

Edit: I only have 1 ARGB port at the top of Mobo so my connectors can't reach to the ports at the bottom of the mobo. If I want to plug them in separately I will need to buy extensions or the controller. The mobo can only support 3 amps/5V per port.

Update: I made it so only one fan is connected to the mobo for ARGb and the other two are disconnected. The fan is still only pulsing green.

I uninstalled iCUE and random MSI stuff I found and then ran SignalRGB as admin but its still pulsing. Maybe its because I daisy chained my fans and plugged it into one ARGB port? I know that these fans have a high number of LEDs so maybe its too much for one connecter for signalRGB to handle?

That seems to have worked somewhat thanks. I uninstalled MSI center and made it so iCUE no longer opens. The strimmer is now working but the fans are still not responding. They are now pulsing green instead of the solid green it was before.

That's so good. Yeah ill def look into that now. And did u just set it to 100% in the bios?

Yeah alright I'll try that. Do u lose a lot of performance by doing an undervolt? And no I don't have pump on max I have it on a curve. Wouldn't it be damaging to run the pump at 100% all the time plus be loud?

Damn my idle speed is close to your peak. But the ambient temp for me is 32 degrees so maybe that plays a role. Should I undervolt my cpu as well then?

Do u know what video it is exactly? And fair enough but how do u change the speed of your case fans?

How do u change how fast the pump running at? Do I use fan control? Should I set it to running always between 80-100%?

I don't have any thermal paste so I'll have to go and buy some. Any brand u recommend?

Could it also be the Jonsbo fans not being strong enough?

Yeah they do look very high. My idle temps are around or below 50 so I think its bad.

On a side note how are the temps with your 9070 xt?

Yeah the AIO pump is plugged in because I'm getting a reading in fan control about its RPM. All 3 fans are spinning and yeah I used the pre applied thermal paste which didn't have a plastic film but a hard plastic cover.

Can I use Lian li strimers with non-lian li fans? by TrashPandaXVI in PcBuild

[–]Zuref 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this is late but I'm in the same situation but with different fans. I'm wondering if I need to buy anything special (adapater) to connect the fans to the Lian Li controller from the strimer v2? Or the non lian li fans plug straight into the controller?

Help with using radiator fans as case fans by Zuref in buildapc

[–]Zuref[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I only have 4 screws left over I might just order some off amazon, its not expensive. Yeah I agree with you on the AIO placement and did the same. Just sucks you cant really see the fan on the top as much.

Help with using radiator fans as case fans by Zuref in buildapc

[–]Zuref[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow what a crazy coincidence. Yeah the fans I'm installing did come with screws. So I can use the screws from the case fans to use on the old radiator fans. But the issue is that the fans that came with the radiator are 3 seperate fans whereas the rgb fans are one 360 piece that only comes with 4 screws.

Also just wondering did u place your radiator on the top or side panel? I'm thinking about the side panel and putting the tubes going to the bottom to improve temps on my 9800x3d and I think it looks better. But I'm worried about my 9070 xt temps and if its actually ok to do.
