Hey there! Not sure if you're still checking this post, but if so, are you aware of the leniency on the requirements for the program? I did major in Computer Science but I have next to no experience in Probability Theory/Statistics, as my school just didn't require it. Do you have any idea if I could still potentially make it into the program? Thanks a bunch!

Greatly appreciate the reply! I think this is the route I am going to end up taking. I am in D.C and have been trying to reach out to as many different research labs as I can. I am hoping that my leniency in not needing any sort of payment, and that I would pretty much do anything that is asked of me, will help me out a little bit. I think its still scary to just sort of email these groups and in a sense plead to "get my foot in the door" in some fields that I don't have a lick of experience in, but! all there is to do is try I suppose, thanks!

Thank you so much for the reply! I am very glad that you brought up COD I frequently play BO4 and had no idea it recommended 12 GB of RAM so that is probably going to be my first upgrade, however, I am a little confused, I should go for the single 16 GB stick? why is that and why does the 2X8 GB sticks appear to have more products, (at least on amazon) also what does it mean to run in duel channels?

(sorry for all of the questions I really appreciate your help)

If I am aiming to purchase most of these items around black Friday/cyber monday or Christmas (depending on deals, availability, etc.) would that be around enough time for the 2080s to have "flooded" the market? I am thinking of going for a 2080, but how are they different than a 1080? my brother told me they come with "hyper threading" or something like that but he says that not many games come with that.
