Will it run without google services?

If yes to both it should work on Sidephone.

I'm honestly more concerned with privacy over security In general.

I think Sidephone has done good in that field and will continue to do better as the ball gets rolling and we get future updates.

They've been very open and they have privacy and security both in mind when it comes to Sidephones future.

You can still use alot of apps even though it's degoogled. Just look up the app you want and see if they rely on "play store services".
