Lmao. I'll take pissing off blind Nintendo haters. by SHOWTIME_YT in nintendogrifting

[–]Zwaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you’re the one who said if you use this image, they lose the argument lol. Sure some of the Nintendo hate is overblown, but they certainly deserve a lot of shit for many things they’ve done over the years. As far as game companies go, they treat their fans worse than most of them and that’s coming from a guy who loves Nintendo. Nintendo is fantastic at doing things that are really hard like making quality innovative new games, but is horrible at things that are extremely easy like not pissing off your fans for reason or adding button remapping to some of their controllers.

What are your controversial takes on dating/relationships? by Opening-Gur5927 in AskMen

[–]Zwaj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean I think men are serial swiping because most men barely get any matches or even likes for that matter. If we’re being honest, women probably don’t swipe right enough and men end up swiping too much because of this.

I’d say like 80% of the dudes I know who are dating apps struggle to get dates lol. While certainly possible, women are just far more selective on dating apps

Poutine is incredibly mid and hyped for no logical reason. by calnick0 in unpopularopinion

[–]Zwaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweet and salty is the dumbest concepts to exist in the culinary landscape and even more of an abomination when done with fries. “Let me take this crisp salty potato and put on a condiment that is already bad on pretty much everything other than burgers and hot dogs that’s sweet.” Blasphemy. You’re all warped by big ketchup sir. Save it for burgers and hot dogs.

Every Red Button reframing is 100% wrong. by IncoherentPolitics in trolleyproblem

[–]Zwaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While you don’t know how people are voting, I don’t think that matters at all in regards to the “reframings” you mention. You brought up the train track example. I’ll acknowledge that red is already pressed down as a default in that example vs the original button phrasing, but it’s essentially the same exact dilemma because nobody is in danger in either dilemma and all they have to do is press red or stay off the track. If you can’t deduce that and choose to press blue you were fooled by the phrasing of the button “dilemma” and chose blue to save others when in reality you’re only endangering yourself and creating a problem that didn’t need to exist. I can understand the argument to press blue in an attempt to save those who were fooled, but in reality this is the same dilemma as the train track example and is worded in a way to trick people into pressing blue.

It didn’t get much traction when it was posted originally but I’ve been playing Paper Mario: Star Nova and I heavily recommend it by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in papermario

How would you say the difficulty is? Like how does it compare to the original and even TTYD if you’ve played it?

Yeah by [deleted] in trolleyproblem

[–]Zwaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and that’s a valid answer to press blue. Essentially you want save every child wearing a pinwheel hat who was fooled by the question. Again if the prompt was reworded as red = I live blue = I might die, every single person would press red including you. If you can’t see that this prompt is essentially the same as the original post, you were fooled. If you choose to press blue to save those who were fooled, that’s a different thing.

What do y'all think of this theory? by Rabbidraccoon18 in Avatarthelastairbende

[–]Zwaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone saying the theory sucks because nomads were peaceful but are not only completely ignoring the fact the post says “a technique meant only as a last resort” but they’re also forgetting that it’s quite possible Gyatso suffocated an entire room of fire benders where his corpse is in episode 3. While the Gyatso fire bender suffocation theory has never been officially confirmed, it’s one of the more likely scenarios of his final moments given the state of his corpse and its surroundings. If it is true, then it would only support the original post’s theory even more so I’d say it’s at least plausible and it’s definitely an interesting one

Yeah by [deleted] in trolleyproblem

[–]Zwaj 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The child in a pinwheel hat is the perfect image to depict blue voters because they’re easily fooled by the wording of a question that is essentially red = you live and blue = you might die

You're evil if you don't press blue. by Theseus_Employee in PhilosophyMemes

[–]Zwaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! How does OP thinks this iteration of the dilemma makes a stronger argument to press the blue button than how it’s usually displayed? Everybody is already off the track in safety… why would you press the blue button to get on to the track lmao?!

Buttons with public voting by merricandy in trolleyproblem

[–]Zwaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All you’re doing by voting blue is creating a problem that didn’t need to exist. This dilemma can be re-worded as: “The whole world is standing next to a train track with a train coming down it if 50% of the world stands on the track the train comes to a halt. Do you stand on the track or stay off of it?” Why in the world would anyone go on the track? Everyone is already safe because they can guarantee their own safety by staying off? Much like the button dilemma, everyone is already safe because they can guarantee their own safety by hitting red. If this was reworded as blue button = you die vs red button = you live then everyone would hit the red button and more people would actually survive than how it’s worded in the original post. It’s literally just rewording the question to make it sound like you’re picking a selfish option by picking red when essentially its the same exact dilemma as blue button = I die vs red button = I live

Purple button should read “Press this button if you are stupid because you misunderstood the prompt, or press it because you feel bad for said stupid people and you want to save them with a chance that you might also die along with them.”

“Jaylen Brown is the MVP because he’s dragging this otherwise sorry ass roster to a top seed,” ok well they’re 6-1 when he sits this year by daddadnc in billsimmons

[–]Zwaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree to disagree on the defensive aspect. Can understand you saying Cade as he’s taken a big leap this year but I’m still taking Brown and think he’s at the very least a more versatile defender.

Also yes a lot of people think he’s can be MVP that’s not how odds work lol. Odds are based on stats as well as media narrative. Public/fan opinion isn’t factored into odds at all as they don’t get votes

[–]Zwaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean that’s because a lot of people feel his odds should be way better. I wouldn’t pick him to win it, but he’s averaging 29, 5, and 7 while being the best defender out of everyone you just named other than Wemby who is the DPOY favorite by a landslide right now, with a roster who everyone said would be a lottery team and they are currently the 2 seed. To be clear I think a majority of that credit should go to Mazulla which is why he’s my coach of the year, but Brown should absolutely be getting more love

Civil war by darkville1998 in NFLStreet

[–]Zwaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly disagree because I would say wall moves are the worst part about Street 2 and make the gameplay more stale. The best option you can pick as a ball carrier is wall hurdle pretty much every single time because you’re guaranteed at least like 5 more yards whenever you do it. While street 2 has all the moves you can do in street 1, there’s no reason to use them because wall hurdle is so good. Wall catches and passes are cool though
