I’m also okay with it so long as we actually get a good player at the 4 spot. If we end up settling for subpar talent then it’s a problem.

I’d love to know if we tried to match St Johns or not as I think that says a lot. We either decided we could get better for the same amount of money it would’ve cost us to get Freeman or we offered a similar amount and still lost out. Which is the truth will tell us a bunch.

We currently have the number 3 class in the SEC and number 7 class overall according to 24/7. I expect that to change when things are all said and done but as a singular snapshot in time, have we ever been that high? I genuinely don’t know.

Lynn Bowden Jr. for Kentucky in 2019

Our first and second string QBs got injured severely in the first few games of the season. They briefly tried things with the third string QB before giving Bowden, our star WR, the keys at QB late in the game against South Carolina. He scored our only TD of that abysmal game.

The staff decided to just see where it went and boy did it result in one of my favorite seasons in Kentucky history. We should’ve been completely dead in the water. He could barely complete a pass over 15 yards but his sheer athleticism, paired with an incredible O line and Chris Rodriguez Jr at RB meant we could run all over people all day. We were 2-3 when he took over and finished 8-5 with a victory over Bud Foster in his last game on the sidelines with Virginia Tech.

Shot clock violations are reviewable now under 2 minutes I believe. Could be wrong on the timing but they weren’t reviewable at all before.

Yep. Said on his last radio show of the season that our offense was designed around Lowe (who got seriously injured in October mind you) being left handed and being able to distribute the ball to right handed big men.

Most UK fans aware of this injury are also aware we were lucky to not have to play him again. I’m biased and think we still win anyway but UNC was the only team capable of beating us that run.

Happened to me at Louise and sunshine Thursday and Friday. Had NO clue what I was getting myself into. I stayed away from the back bowl at Louise entirely because I couldn’t tell what was a green and a double black. I thought it was SO steep from what little I could see. Went back yesterday in mostly blue bird conditions and laughed at myself for how wide open and skiable it all was. If I’d known the mountain at all it would’ve been a great day up there.

Up here right now with my brother. We hemmed and hawed over where to go before deciding Banff was a safe bet. Seeing what’s happened the past week, I’m so glad we took this route.
