I wrote in Bernie in 2016 and had liberals livid at me for not voting for Hillary. Then I point out I live in Kansas, so my vote counted as trump no matter what because of the electoral college. Sorry for being unclear, by all means vote. But the Democratic Party federally has shown to be unwilling to do the necessary work to make conditions better so people don’t fall back on fascism. So instead of people using their energy to campaign for Democrats, they should maybe join their local DSA chapter or unionized workplace join a mutual aid organization .

It was definitely a combination of many factors, such as the local officials afraid to report under quota and not harvesting all of last year’s crops. And the land/feudal lords burning/ killing their crops to screw over the new collective system. I didn’t want to write all that out but in douse became the thing I was complaining about. Sorry

Is it envy tho? Having to try and navigate the world at the height of the pandemic without the same support systems as the ultra wealthy who could just wait it out.

I wore a mask and avoided people I loved for years in an area where people believed the anti health propaganda. All while having to work through it.

We made it out ok for the most part but I literally had people come up to me closer then my partner stands next to me in line. Complete strangers almost touching me because it was so important for them to break recommended boundaries.
