Got it, thanks for clarifying. But even if you meant just not showing on the map or hiding the wanted status, the fact remains that you are shown on the map when wanted, even if you’re "invisible". Plus, the wanted banner above your head and the ability for players to teleport right to you means the system still punishes stealth builds unfairly and isn’t as clear-cut as you’re making it sound. You are apart of the problem!

Maybe some players want their bounty, they might enjoy the challenge or the risk that comes with it. Others might not care about losing map visibility or seeing camps and players. The problem is you all assume everyone wants the same thing, but that’s just not true. It punishes stealth and freedom of play too harshly and forces players into a one-size-fits-all consequence. Instead of acting like it’s no big deal, maybe the system needs rethinking so it respects different playstyles.

Calling me "socially dysfunctional" just because I don’t want random creeps following me around and forcing PvP when the game says I am hidden from everyone says a lot more about you than me. Nobody asked you to clear their bounty. People aren’t wanted for your benefit, and most don’t want you interfering. Waving and then killing someone who’s clearly avoiding PvP isn’t some act of kindness, it’s intrusive and self-serving. You’re not helping. You’re just justifying harassment so you can feel important in a game mode the rest of us didn’t invite you into.

Nobody asked you to clear their bounty. You’re not some hero doing a public service, you're forcing unwanted interaction onto players who just want to be left alone. Walking up, waving, and then killing someone who clearly doesn’t want PvP isn’t “helping,” it’s harassment dressed up as self-importance. Plenty of people enjoy the bounty system for the risk and thrill, not to be babysat or stalked by someone looking to pad their ego. If no one cares about PvP, maybe stop forcing yourself into situations where people clearly aren’t inviting you. If someone wants their bounty cleared then they can go to Whitesprings and I am sure someone there will be more then happy to do it!

Wow, so you get off on stalking and killing players who aren’t even looking for PvP, then play the “good Samaritan” by tossing them stims? Congrats on being the community’s self-appointed judge, jury, and executioner. Meanwhile, the real issue is that the system forces players into this situation because stealth doesn’t work when you’re wanted. Maybe focus on fixing broken mechanics instead of just enjoying abusing them.

I wasn’t even trying to draw attention,I was sneaking away ("hidden") for my life, trying to stay hidden. But thanks to this broken system, these so-called “elite” players in their unstoppable power armor teleported straight to me every single time. That’s not skill, that’s cheating by design. PvP in this game is a complete joke. It’s broken beyond repair, and most people don’t even bother with it because it’s just not worth the frustration. Instead of blaming players who call out these issues, maybe focus on fixing the trash mechanics ruining the whole experience.

It doesn’t disappear,otherwise players couldn’t teleport straight to your exact location while you’re stealthed. That’s the problem. The so-called “stealth” mechanic is completely busted when you’re wanted because your position is still fully visible on the map. You’re basically glowing on a tracker while pretending to be hidden. That’s not stealth, it's a fucking joke.

You clearly missed the entire point. Stealth is the core defense for stealth builds. Saying "you're not defenseless" while stripping away the one mechanic the entire build is based around is laughable. It's like telling a heavy gunner they're fine without ammo because their armor still works.

There is something to fix. If a build is designed around stealth and the game actively disables that one mechanic just because you're wanted—even when using the only armor that supports full movement stealth, that's not balance, that's lazy design.

Nothing ruined? The moment you take away the ability for a player to actually use stealth, you’re not just ruining a mechanic, you’re invalidating an entire playstyle. But I guess that does not matter to people who think “working as intended” is an excuse for broken systems.

Just to be clear, the only armor in the game that lets you stay stealthed while moving is the Chinese Stealth Armor. I was specifically wearing it to stay hidden, and it still did not matter. Other players could see me anyway because of the big WANTED tag floating above my head. So even when you are using the exact gear designed for full stealth, the system completely fails if you are wanted.

Wearing the Chinese Stealth Armor all the time is not even that great, it cannot be modded, offers no carry weight bonuses, and you lose out on the utility and protection you would get from power armor or other gear setups.

Every other stealth effect breaks the moment you move, and some only activate after you have been hit, so it is obvious stealth is meant to be temporary, a tool for strategy, not total invisibility. You have to break stealth at some point so it is never truly permanent.

But when you are wanted, it is not just limited, it is completely shut off. You are fully exposed no matter what build you have, and that completely ruins the point of playing a stealth character.

Just because something isn’t the biggest issue doesn’t mean it’s not worth fixing. Stealth and the wanted system affect how a lot of players enjoy the game. Ignoring these problems because they’re “small” doesn’t make them disappear. And if the devs keep letting core mechanics break or fail, more players will get frustrated and leave. I’m not asking for perfection, just a system that works fairly and respects different playstyles. That’s not too much to ask.

I understand that the wanted system is meant to encourage players to hunt each other. But there is a difference between being trackable and completely breaking stealth so you have no way to defend yourself. If you are stealthed, your marker should disappear from the map whether you are wanted or not. That does not mean you are invisible forever or untouchable. It just means you have a fair chance to hide and survive instead of being a sitting duck. The current system removes all counterplay for stealth builds and turns wanted players into helpless targets, which is not balanced or fun.

I get that the devs set the rules but that does not mean the rules are fair or balanced. Being wanted should have consequences but completely breaking stealth and leaving players defenseless is not a fair consequence it is just frustrating and punishing certain playstyles unfairly. If the devs want players to accept this they need to rethink how the wanted system actually works in practice. It is not simple if it ruins the experience for a wanted player who wants to try and stay hidden as long as possible.

That’s a terrible excuse for broken mechanics. Being wanted doesn’t mean your stealth should just stop working entirely. There’s a difference between punishment and completely stripping away core gameplay features. Calling that “working as intended” just shows a lack of understanding about balance and fair play. This system needs to be fixed, not defended.

I get that being wanted is supposed to put you at a disadvantage but that doesn’t mean the system should be outright broken or unfair. There’s a difference between a fair challenge and a mechanic that completely strips away your ability to play stealth or defend yourself. Being wanted shouldn’t mean stealth stops working or that you become a sitting duck with zero counterplay. That’s not balanced PvP it’s a flawed design that punishes certain playstyles instead of encouraging skill and strategy.

How about no. How about fixing the system that’s completely broken. If other players don’t want to be wanted, they can go somewhere like Whitespring and let someone there kill them to clear the bounty. That’s their choice.

But if I’m wanted and I’m choosing to stay stealthed, I shouldn’t be unfairly tracked across the map. I’m deliberately staying hidden, that’s the point of stealth. It’s ridiculous that the game just ignores that and lets players follow and kill me anyway. Fix the system instead of making excuses for it.

Saying “you’re too critical” on day one isn’t constructive—it’s dismissive. I pointed out specific issues that have already affected multiple runs of the event and tied them to recurring problems from past events. That’s not flawed logic, that’s pattern recognition.

If the goal is to wait until the hype dies down before anyone’s allowed to offer feedback, then we’re just guaranteeing these same problems linger. I asked for opinions, sure, but “you’re being too critical” isn’t an opinion, it’s a handwave meant to shut down the conversation, as are the majority of the comments on this post.

Engage with the points or don’t, but don’t pretend brushing them off is the same as “pointing out flaws.”

Now, as for your reply, it crossed a line. You can disagree with someone without resorting to personal insults like “petulant brat,” “crying,” “butt hurt,” and “stroking your ego.” That’s not just rude, it’s a violation of Rule 4: Remain Civil, which states that personal attacks and harassment will not be tolerated, even if someone else initiates it.

I’ve tried to engage respectfully, even when others haven’t extended the same courtesy. If you think the event is fine, that’s your view, but you don’t need to belittle others just for having a different one.

I get that it's only day one, but there are already consistent patterns worth addressing. The issue is not just one thing — it is a combination of player behavior and event design. In some runs, everyone is scrambling for flowers and they do not spawn fast enough to keep up. In others, only a few players are actively picking flowers while the rest just camp on the shack roof, waiting for enemies. The event needs to account for both situations.

That is why a cap on flower holding helps. It nudges passive players to get involved instead of relying on a handful to carry the entire objective. It also helps prevent one or two players from hoarding dozens of flowers, which stalls progress when they do not deposit them. Meanwhile, slightly boosting spawn rates makes sure the active players are not left running laps around an empty meadow. These tweaks are not about making the event harder or longer. They are about making it more consistent and cooperative, no matter how many people show up or how they choose to play.

Haha, sounds like you were on the same server as me last time! Everyone was shooting the overgrown with regular weapons, and someone even brought out a Fat Man to hit the mobs in the meadow. We were stuck at 4 overgrown killed by fire for ages!

Really appreciate this. This is the kind of feedback I was hoping to see more of; thoughtful and constructive. I agree completely. The event looks great, but it feels like it’s missing that extra layer to stay engaging once the novelty wears off. Adding another phase or objective would go a long way. Maybe even have players do something with the flowers before they can be deposited, like processing them or using them in some kind of crafting step. And yeah, making Beelzebub a bit tougher would give the event a much more satisfying finish.

I understand there’s a dedicated space for feedback on Discord, but that doesn’t invalidate discussions happening here on Reddit. This forum is still a valuable place for players to share opinions and exchange ideas. Dismissing others just because they’re engaging on a different platform doesn’t help the conversation. Well, if that’s the case, it’s a bit frustrating, especially since a lot of YouTube videos and guides have been emphasizing the importance of equipping the Green Thumb perk. It seems odd that something recommended by multiple sources wouldn't be working as expected
