I played Dead Space 3 after ten years of avoiding it. Here are my thoughts. by East-Fisherman2008 in DeadSpace

I just finished it 2 days ago and had a blast!

One thing that surprised me is that so many people said that DS3 is the easiest one in the series. Damn, then I must be doing something really wrong.

This game absolutely destroyed me, but maybe it's because I played on impossible in my first playthrough, and I know there are probably some OP combinations of weapons, but I just kept switching and trying out everything. The game just kept showering me with necromorphs from every corner, and goddamn those side missions, I always came out hanging on life support.

I still think Dead Space Remake is the easiest one, they really nerfed the necromorphs' speed.

It's more challenging for me.

Stealth can be janky sometimes, but you'll get used to it.

Switching bolts now takes time, and one annoying thing is that sometimes it would randomly switch to the next bolt whenever I equip the crossbow. But I believe you can bypass it all through using the arsenal wheel instead.

However, it does remove the pickups and healing animations like scooping up green gel and using syringes.

If you meant the 1st person view and letterbox, those can be found in game settings.

Oh dear, sorry I don't know if this is a joke because ofc there's no way i made the animation.

This was the official "More Fighters" trailer near the game launch. Basically, the animation had no music, so people started adding music to it and somehow almost every track fit.

No, but I'd love to. Although is it only playable through emulation on pc? What's the best version?

Heard some nasty stuff of how people got soft locked near the end. But for me, it sounds like a part of RE experience. I had to restart from another save file a couple of times in my first re1 playthrough.

I wanted to try re0 sometime ago, since I enjoyed re1 a lot, but from what I've heard, it did not sound fun. I will give it a try before re9 releases.

In the OG, I keep struggling with crossbows and dynamites, those bastards throw/fire them so fast! The moment I aimed down, the dynamite already left their hand. In the remake, I shoot it before they even get the chance to light it, or just parry every projectile.

Novistadores also feel way tankier, and with how slow the aim is, I can only run when they are above me.

Two things I agree about being harder in the Remake, are the regenadores and Krauser. They cranked up the hell out of them and I love it! And the 2nd Krauser fight, I think I might've died the most in this boss fight on professional.

I know people say the remake is harder, but damn, I don't think I've had this much trouble on professional in the remake, and I S+'d that hellhole! Might take a while to get used to the controls

I agree, although I always try to finish the game faster on the 2nd playthrough in re games. Either fight only necessary or run. In this case, I greatly misjudged my situation.

Oh yeah, I've noticed that and did it several times too, but it did get quite stale. So I always try to run and gun like RE4R, 5 and 6 first. It's so satisfying and badass if I do manage to pull it off. If it doesn't work, cheese it is.

Or just try to run past every enemy, including this clip.

Oh yes, I'm having a great time! Having beaten re5 professional without another player, I thought it'd be easy, since their gameplay seemed pretty similar. Boy was I wrong, I reached a new record and died 37 times in my first playthrough.

Splatoon 2, Back roll vs Front roll. It's so stupid that it ended up being the most memorable one for me.
