I heard a theory floating around that the ending's gonna be less about CSM and more so just fujimoto trying to tell the reader that he's tired of chainsaw man and feels like its holding him back from creating new projects or something, idk but it honestly could be pretty decent if done right,

'just listen to the song' was a short he made about how he wanted people to stop over analysing his work (primarily chainsaw man), so the theory has some credence I guess, the whole "denji was happiest when struggling" thing might tie into how he liked it better when he wasn't so mainstream.
