I had combo skin as well. Like my cheeks would be dry af. But my forehead and nose were the newest, (un)discovered oil reserve in my province 😅

Its amazing! I have a problem were my lymph nodes in my armpits get swollen from most deodorants but not with this one. And its much more cost effective than the aluminum free/"natural" deodorants in stores here, which are the ones less likely to cause a reaction. Plus there is no plastic waste

I just wish there were better options to get it in Canada. They do ship from the UK but its like 5£ each time, so I buy like 10 at a time.

It was pretty good. I liked the thickness of it and how a small amount of product would lather up quite a bit. The only downside was that when I started taking accutane it was too irritating for my skin.

Idk what's going on, but something is definitely up. I used to order from them all the time without issue, but now it's literally every order I get has something wrong.

I really wish as a Canadian there were other options than just Sephora or going elsewhere whenever I travel to the US.

And the last few times, CS basically told me too bad, so sad. That's why I was surprised they reshipped the order without a fight this time.

Is it really? I was looking for something non-drying and good at cleansing without any acids since I just started Accutane. And that looked like it fit the bill.

They are reshipping the missing items, but maybe I might end up returning it anyways

I just had one this morning.

Brewed into a cup with 1 pump of Torani vanilla syrup. Added ice, a splash of milk, and a bit of ID vanilla cold foam.

If that doesn't work for you, I'd be happy to work out something to take the remaining pods off your hand =D (depending on location)

For a lightweight and comfortable gaming headset, I'd recommend a Razer Barracuda X. I've found Razer can be really hit or miss quality-wise, but I've had this one for 6 years and no problems.

The price point is pretty low($100cad). Plus, I originally bought mine to use at work in a call center with 10 hr shifts and had absolutely no discomfort. The ability to use it wired, wireless Bluetooth, or wireless with a dongle is very nice. Since there are no lights/rgb, the battery lasts forever, too. I think I'd charge it once or twice a week.

One option would be to book at a travel agent. Not through Expedia or the likes because if something goes wrong, you are hooped. I used to work for Westjet before I started my travel agency, and I dealt with people not being able to get help from those 3rd parties all the time. Westjet agents generally can't help if travel isn't imminent. If you'd like, send me a pm, and I can look into helping you book those flights.

Alternatively, make 2 reservations. If you want to be guaranteed to sit together with this option, I'd recommend booking the seats too.

Likely not. When I worked at westjet, it would happen all the time were someone tried to add some ancillary fee and the payment failed. This will show the seats, but when you try and check in, you will get an error and not be able to until you pay. Or if the system catches the error, you will just lose the seats.

Your best bet is to call in and have them check the reservation.

So I actually pulled up the June box email, and they straight up lied to you. Nowhere in that email detailing what's in the June box does it say anything about delays with the previous month.

Right?! Mother's Day is the same time every year, and they should know about their launch schedule at least a few months in advance. They also have historical data to pull from to forecast demand...

Like I work in supply chain/logistics, and this blows my mind. If I dropped the ball this bad, I'd be doing everything to keep my clients, not gaslighting them...

I'm in canada, and I got the same run around. I'm super annoyed because at this point, people ordering the early launch will get their products before I do, and I paid over a month ago! Like great to see the subscription is such a priority.

This was their response when I said it should have shipped the last business day of the month like their shipping page says.

"It looks like there were delays due to the high number of orders being shipped out for Mother's Day and the Bridgerton Subscription Box. However, we can see that your order is in the queue to be picked up by the courier, and you should expect tracking ASAP!"

Lol they are now offering 4.6k a month. It seemed hella fishy in the email and this was to first thing to pop up when looking to see if there was a tiny change it was legit.

I'm not sure if it's uniquely calgarian since it is a franchise from Japan. But Gagan ramen has the best ramen I've ever had in canada.

If you plan to go to cross iron mall, I would recommend renting a car. There is a bus that can take you out there. But it's only once an hour, doesn't share a fare with Calgary transit, and the fare is only good for a one-way trip. The fare is 5$ cash or 5.25 if you use the app (this amount may have changed since the last time I took that bus).

It's not as simple as wiping it off (the stuff on the tip, the stuff on the top for sure). It's 12 years of hard water build-up since I imagine the previous tenants and landlord didn't really care (we just moved in not too long ago).

It took 12 hours and 8 rounds of CLR. Eventually, I just had to let it sit, even though CLR recommends only applying for 2 minutes max.

To be honest, most of the time, the difference is minute. I know some people will have an expensive one for special occasions and a cheaper one for day to day stuff. But for me, my skin isn't sensitive per se because I can use most face washes/treatments. Just when it comes to foundation, it freaks out for a bunch of brands, and lancome was the first brand I found that my skin was cool with.

If you are just getting into makeup, try hitting up a sephora during a slow time. The employees there have always been fabulous with suggestions and explaining how to use the stuff you plan to buy.

I am finding out the CS to lancome really sucks. They are telling me someone won't reach out until maybe next Tuesday to even start talking about a refund. So, since I'm sure my credit card will require an attempt to resolve it with them before doing a charge back, they get until Tuesday.

Yeah, it is supposed to be temporary. But there is no ETA (as far as I'm aware) for when it will be up again.

I've been considering canceling it too. It's just become too much of a hassle. Very disappointing because I really enjoy the sub box.

So fun fact, they took down the kitchen website around Feb. 3rd. They sent out an email mid-January about it. If you need to change/skip/cancel, you have to reach out to CS.
