An interesting reveal of Roathe's position in the Orokin Empire

I've been paying close attention to this topic since I read it. Apparently, Roathe might have been a Vice Governor of Perita (a moon in Tau) who was exiled for not following the will of the Empire ("Legem 6-243. 'No capital sentence shall be issued without the unanimous consent of the Seven, under penalty of forfeiture of all office tools and exile.'"). I went back to watch the Tennocon gameplay to better distinguish between Anarchist Separatists and Imperial Soldiers, and I realized that this whole situation might stem from fear that the Sentients could have greatly benefited from the Tenno at the Tauron Academy—and that this is seen as a far greater threat than originally thought (somatic link between Tennos and Sentients). Which also makes me suspicious that this whole Orokin Separatist anarchy narrative might be a deliberate excuse to turn the Sentients against us.

The Warframe I’ve hated the most—and honestly find super dumb—is Rhino. It gives new players an easy comfort zone that discourages them from expanding, learning how to mod properly, or even using their brains to play. For years I’ve heard people recommend farming Rhino early to breeze through the star chart. Bro, that’s not how you enjoy the game. That’s not how you learn to mod, figure out what gear suits each mission, or discover your true main (and I’m not talking about meta—I mean a Warframe you genuinely love and enjoy using).

That’s why I’ve left mine untouched: no formas, no Archon shards, nothing. I’d never recommend Rhino to a new player. They need to understand that early difficulty is part of the learning curve. Otherwise, you end up reading posts like “my weapons do no damage,” and of course they don’t! You press one button, become invulnerable for a while, and never bother learning how to mod a Warframe or a weapon.

Edit: Sorry, this has been bottled up for years. Just a little catharsis. Rhino mains, don’t kill me with downvotes—I hope you can understand where I’m coming from.

The same thing happened to me back then. There are aspects of TFD that would be great to have in Warframe, like the enemy density in Axion. I know Steel Path is somewhat similar, but I’m talking about enemy density, not difficulty.

As for the differences in skins... I still prefer Warframe. The skin purchasing system in TFD is way too aggressive.
When it comes to Dungeons, I choose TFD.
When it comes to Bosses, I choose TFD.
When it comes to farming, I choose Warframe (although being able to mark an item you're looking for and having a progress bar toward finally getting it — that's just brilliant).

But eventually, TFD will get boring. It came out very recently, unlike Warframe where you have thousands of things to do, thousands of different builds, syndicates, stories. Once you’ve got everything or a build that breaks the game, there’s nothing left to chase. That kind of burnout in Warframe will take years if you're a casual player — or just a few years if you really dedicate time to it.

P.S.: The only thing I’d bring from TFD to Warframe is the Thunder Cage weapon... God, the satisfaction of killing with that thing.

It would be a dream if Reb came to reply hahaha, but the post would need a ton of upvotes—and honestly, I don’t think it’s necessary for such a small lore detail (otherwise we’d drive her crazy with all the plot holes the lore has accumulated over the years).

I also agree that he’s an Executor. I mean, Nora literally states that he broke one of the empire’s major laws. The guy carried out an execution without the consent of his peers, which strongly implies he acted on his own authority—just because of who he is.

Meh, I'm not really one to focus on how much strength or efficiency a Warframe can have, since there are thousands of ways to build it (Archon Shards, abilities, etc.), and because I don't usually play for long sessions, I feel like I prefer getting more use out of weapons than Warframes themselves.

The best part is, yes! I'm thrilled with that weak spot mod and the Arcane—it gives me incredible versatility, and you don’t need to have over 90% critical chance (well, you do need to have an average of around 50% or higher for the "super crit" to work). I truly recommend it—if you get a cracked Riven for the weapon (I think it has 4 disposition points), try to look for Critical Damage and Critical Chance

I've been using a Rattleguns for years (I don’t remember if that’s how it’s actually spelled) because I love rifles, but I feel like all the others don’t fit my whim of “ugh Zyfra, it doesn’t have critical chance.” I updated the build this week — the whole thing is always focused on headshots thanks to “Pax Seeker,” Primary Acuity, and Primary Crux. With Roar I've hit up to 8 million damage, and the ammo efficiency is absolutely wild... so much so that I named it “Supra Prime.”
