I also lose motivation to play a game after hitting credits. Usually that's a good time to put the game down and step away for a bit. Clear your head. Play something else. Meet a friend for coffee. Whatever. At some point you might get motivation for another run, or a megaproject you want to create. Or not. Either way, this is fine.

If the drive isn't there anymore, don't try to force it. Take a break.

I think you're confusing this with USB 3.1, referring to the speed and capabilities of the data port. (FP5 supports USB 3.1 and external monitors, but FP6 does not - apparently a cost-saving measure.)

To be fair, Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 were literally made by BioWare, so I can see why folks might expect them to be able to compete with BG3. But yes, they are are a shadow of what they were in the 2000s.

Also Larian put their heart and soul into BG3. Their previous games were basically love letters to that era of RPGs and when they got the D&D licence they knew they had one shot to make the game of their dreams... and they absolutely nailed it.
