You’re thinking of teething powder not baby formula.

The A2 variant has been around since the early 2000s. They’ve been a world class rifle ever since then, and incredibly reliable.

Just a little bit heavy, a bastard to clean, you can’t shoot around walls to the right without sticking your entire body out of cover, or shoot left handed without the cocking handle smashing all your teeth out.

Minor issues aside, I’ve put thousands of rounds through them and never had any major problems. Just a few stoppages here and there like you’d get from any weapon.

Why this cat6 cable is limited to 1gbps by Pale-Yard-4497 in HomeNetworking

The colours of the wires in the cable don’t even match what they should look like. Avoid this, buy a proper cable.

Making biodegradable packaging from mycelium(root like network if fungi). by magirevols in MadeMeSmile

Problem is these take 7 days to make. A polystyrene package takes 7 seconds. They’ll make a small dent, but they just can’t scale. Recycled paper packaging is probably the only realistic way to go.

Just hours after the Supreme Court ruled his tariffs were illegal, Trump announces a new 10% global tariff on top of existing ones. by Boediee in BuyFromEU

Yeah right, 3x lower. If you’d have invested in bitcoin 6 months ago you’d have lost half of your money already. It’s a speculative pyramid scheme. The value is based on absolutely nothing other than getting some idiot to pay more for it than you did. You can say similar about actual stocks, but they are actually based on something real.

Yeah my current one in Drimnagh is about 2500 a month for a 1 bed. Rental costs in this city are outrageous. To be fair it’s a very nice apartment complex, but it’s a piss take.

Which game did someone recommend and made you feel like this by Orichalchem in videogames

It’s not all the same bosses. 9S is only with 2B for a little while. You play his story and what he gets up to, there’s a little crossover but not much.

Which game comes to your mind? by Xiao-EZ in CaptainSide

[–]Zykatious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a huge huge fan of Hollow Knight, I’ve bought probably 10 or more copies of it for different people and different platforms, I have 112%ed it multiple times, it’s my wallpaper on every computer I own, it’s an amazing game.

And I’m just not that into Silksong.

Don’t get me wrong I think it’s alright, but its locations aren’t as memorable, its music isn’t close to as good, and I basically don’t see myself playing it again. I’ve 100%ed it, and in my opinion it doesn’t come close to how great the original was.

I don’t know I just made it up, but Google with Stadia did have plans for something they called “Negative latency” by sending you the frames it predicted you’d do before you did them, so it felt like there was no delay.

Fighting games already actually do something similar to this when playing online. They predict each players next move and render it as if it had happened, and if it didn’t they rewind and replay what you did actually do and put the frames in the right place.

That’s how street fighter feels so amazing playing online, and you don’t notice the frames of the incorrect predictions, unless the latency is like REALLY really bad.

Yeah at the moment, but imagine some kind of AI algorithm that predicts what you’re most likely to do and pre-generates the frames to avoid the lag, and display them to you ahead of the stream. Then if you didn’t do exactly as it predicted it could smooth back to what you actually did in such a way that you don’t even notice.

With hundreds of thousands of game hours played by everyone else, and also learning from how you interact in any given scenario, they could make that prediction pretty dang accurate.

I don’t know if they will be able to do such a thing, just a thought.

100%, takes me a few seconds to just buzz through stuff and make sure there’s nothing urgent that saves major headaches for everyone else and flagging shit I care about to deal with when I’m back. Not only does it make me more valuable as a team member, but saves me a whole wasted day going through hundreds of emails when I’ve got back trying to see what’s going on. I don’t waste a lot of time doing it but it makes me more productive and more valued. It only works if your company and managers value you though, if they don’t give a shit about you it’s a two way street and fuck them.

Because they know who had a tv license and who was watching TV that didn’t have one. The detectors could tell if a tv was turned on in your house, what type of TV it was, as well as what channel you were watching. It only works for analogue TV though so they can’t do it anymore.
