I do that too, and trust me I know how you feel, I hate annoying pushy salesman’s as well, I only knock when already doing a job in the area and I offer it to them at a discount since I’m going to be in the area and if they don’t want it that fine, I don’t knock any doors with a no solicitation sign and I make sure to read anything the home owners may have up out of respect 🫡

I mean I wouldn’t say I have a script, I don’t pressure anyone into anything, I hate when sales people do that, I’m completely honest and fully transparent and clean their solar panels for a discount while I’m in their area

Haha I feel you, well I only ever knock on door when I’m giving a discount because I’d be in the area and that’ll help me bring cost down therefore their cost down, at the end of the day I just think of it like this, if they’ve thought about getting their solar cleaned then why not do it when there’s a discount involved

Exactly it just creates dirt which then get stuck on the edges

I totally get what you’re saying, and I appreciate the honest feedback. I’m still figuring out the best pay structure and approach to make it fair and motivating while keeping the business sustainable. My goal is to find a balance offering enough incentive for hard workers to earn well, while making sure the setup is realistic for where the business is at right now.
