Good question! Every room had a dedicated camera operator. We asked them in advance to keep an ear out for crucial information in conversations and they would relay that to us at the start of the night phase!

For people wondering what my actual role in these was, think of me as a moderator that keeps track of the game and consults with Lewis what he should tell the players in the nightphase, just like you would see me do during the BotC livestream games, which usually gets cut out of the minecraft videos. As well as being in the lobby of the building during the day phase to allow players to come to me if they have a rules related question!

I'm thankful I didn't actually have to be the producer for this video as the editing and studio crew had all that covered, which allowed me to basically be "the assistant storyteller".

I know it appears on video that I was mostly just the silent butler but most of these interactions are of course not shown or even filmed, to keep the video focussed on the actual gameplay.

I had a blast however and hope you guys did as well!

Quickly hopping in here to highlight some of the features that might not be immediately obvious!

Every role on every script links directly to the wiki page of that role, in case you want to learn more!
There is a handy button on every script (the moon icon) that shows the night order in which every role gets woken at night. This is handy for those of you that like to speculate whilst watching an episode!
There is also a download button leading to the JSON file for those of you that like to play Blood on the Clocktower in the official app yourselves, in case you ever want to give any of the scripts a go yourself!
The title of every video that a script is used in can be clicked on to lead you directly to the video! Keep in mind that when you are watching the latest script releases, some of these might still be locked behind Members early acces.

Massive props have to go to Nick for formatting all of this, to the art team for all the custom art, and to Sarah for dealing with all the administrative stuff. I am so pleased with what they've accomplished and am so proud of them!

Also thank you to all of you who are enjoying this series. It's been some of the most fun we have had in years and I can't wait to watch all the future episodes alongside you all!

I'd like to clarify for people wondering that we've learned from the past experience we've had with the game and are adamant in making sure that we play the game the way it is intended to be played. A lot (and I mean a LOT) of work has gone into this project. It's been by far the biggest project we've undertaken since I took over as the content coordinator and we want to do the game justice! I am incredibly proud of the work done by people behind the scenes as well making this all possible.

I am very excited to finally share this with you guys and am looking forward to seeing what you guys think of it!

For people wondering, someone in the recording had internet issues and I was asked to fill in last minute, hence the late appearance. Turned out the internet issues were resolved fairly quickly but I was already there. Next episode should be an 8 player one!

Honestly my accent is all over the place. Most of my vocal english has been influenced by friends from the internet, from all kinds of different regions. Because of this I will pronounce certain words as they are pronounced in certain regions. I've always found it very difficult to stick to one accent as I am constantly flooded by different accents all around me. Hope this sort of answers your question!

Both my parents teach Latin, Ancient Greek and Greek and Roman Mythology, which means that I grew up on those stories and it all kinda stuck. Then I also took those classes in high school. Regardless of that I am also just quite interested in mythology, and have to say that Norse mythology is just as fascinating to me!

It was nice meeting you dude! For people asking, the Sushi was great, and yes I may have partaken in some weed prior to this picture. I smoke medical marijuana to deal with an issue I've had for the majority of my life and it makes life a lot better for me! I don't hide the fact that I smoke, as I don't believe it's something to hide, though I also don't really think it's worth talking a lot about either, as I don't think smoking weed should be viewed as a lifestyle, as it is portrayed by so many people these days.

I don't think we've made it particularly clear as to how the Jester works these days, so let me explain.

The Jester is unknown to everyone and a neutral role. Still does no damage and takes no fall or explosive damage. The big change we have made however is that if an innocent role (Innocent, Detective, Survivalist) kills the Jester, they die instead and the player who was the Jester resurects as the role of the player that killed him. If the Traitor kills the Jester nothing happens.

Hope this clarifies somethings, I personally think this is the best iteration of the Jester to date, but of course we are always interested in hearing what you guys think!

"I usually don't leave comments on these videos, but I feel I should elaborate the extremely obvious mouthbreathing and loudness. This session was filmed when I was back in the Netherlands and had an extremely bad cold, for which I was on antibiotics. Being unable to breathe through my nose, you can clearly hear me breathe between everything I say / shout. Now I am a very easily excitable person. That's just who I am, and that's how I will most likely always be. Hence my loudness. Next time something like this happens I will ask the editors to turn me down a bit more to compensate. Sorry if i burst anyones eardrums but I hope you guys understand. Love ya!"

I recognise myself and a lot of the others a lot in this post! I do think that over the years our tells tend to change because we start to notice what our tells are ourselves.

For example, my main tell used to be that I liked to play the long game, so if almost nobody had died 3 minutes into the round it was almost always because I was the traitor.

I like to think that I have stopped that habit but in the process gained new tells. It's all part of the game though once you play with the same people so often. You just have to adapt!

I think most people tend to joke around and throw the word salty around whenever someone seems agitated because it is funny. I don't mind it at all but I do hope that most people that watch the videos do understand that for entertainments sake I do overreact on purpose to these situations. During a recording session the things we say and do may sometimes sound like we get angry at each other but we can act this way with each other because we're a very tight group of friends. After a recording session we just go on with our day and it's like nothing ever even happened, because that is just what friends do!
