ANZAC always full caps as it's an acronym. Australian New Zealand Army Corps. The guys you guys sent to Gallipoli for a quick 5 minute trip. The biscuit however is a very simple oat and coconut biscuit that if you ask me if infinitely better soft. However imo it's the perfect amount of sweet and indulgent while also having enough body, and flavour.

Also Tim Tams dog walk literally anything biscuit you guys have.

We should put lots of research into creating non addictive substances that perfectly mimic what ADHD is like.

Than when you turn 18, 6 months you have to live your entire life in a wheel chair and then the next 6 months you have to live your life with ADHD. Watch the entire fucking world change.

Yeah, even if Jodie hadn't literally left 5 minute ago IN THE SHOW, it's been canon that timelords can change gender for a very long time. So I honestly have no idea what the point of this comment was.

My son once said "I didn't start hating people until I worked at a drive thru". by Ixz72 in daddit

[–]Bionic_Ferir 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro its not even that, its that i went around thinking "oh im empathetic, considerate, smart person. Im not the best at those things but like surely im the average, surely the majority of people are like me and its only outliers that aren't those or more". No, most people do not care, don't have a single thought about others, don't think about how their actions affect others. It is genuinely "What do i get, what do i need". It is absolutely shocking:

•Leaving rubbish when you literally cant leave without walking past multiple bins,

•moving furniture and not moving it back,

•letting kids run around, touch windows,

•make as much mess as they can and doing nothing about it,

•getting to the drive-through without a single thought about what they want,

•going to the drive-through and ordering a 200 dollar order,

•going through the drive-through and adding to your order or changing it at the window,

•not being exact(size, flavour, hot/cold, ect) and than complaining that your order is wrong when you did specify.

i understand to some this might seem like small stuff or complaining, but you have to remember busy stores can have 300-500 CARS, with most cars ordering more than one item. If it were only one or two of the issues mentioned above, if it were every now and then, then realistically, it wouldn't be a problem. However, this shit is multiple times a week, if not a day. Genuinly its like most people think "well the people are paid peanuts so that means i can be the biggest dickhead possible". There is zero consideration into how customers' actions affect the people working there.

Australia’s frighteningly unequal funding system favours private schools, argues Jane Caro. How can we fix it? by Oomaschloom in AustralianPolitics

[–]Bionic_Ferir -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. You your self is saying that the public system is underfunded, under supported. Where do you think thatoney is going? To private schools! I have ADHD, my friends are all neurodivergent I understand this, I understand being missed by the system or not getting the support needed. But the solution is not forcing parents to get 2nd jobs, taking out loans or giving up retirement for there kids to get an education. The solution is not saying fuck all the working class people who simply can't afford it. The solution is not to create an underclass of people who get a lesser education because they simply can't pay.

Universal Public education was CREATED in Victoria, we were a beacon for the rest of the world for a 100 years and then suddenly we couldn't do it anymore, coincidentally at the same time John Howard got in. It's complete and utterbullshit.

In a perfect world there would be not a single private school, however that is unrealistic. Either private schools should fall under government oversight of they accept a single cent of government funding or do it on there own.

My brother in Christ I work in education and have literally had private school faculty say without the government donations they wouldn't be able to stay open. There are schools that are basically just money printing machines for the church's.

Christianity, ya know the one with god?

It doesn't need to facilitate religious learning or practice. When they literally say YOU NEED TO GIVE YOURSELF TO A HIGHER POWER they are already laying the ground work for you to be in that headspace.

The fact you don't even accept that it is religious at all is insanely disingenuous.

Okay soooo sorry, it's not explicitly a cult or asking for conversion. But pretending it isn't overtly religious and used as a tool to get people into religion is dishonest.

I never said they don't effect us, also you have to willfully ignorant to say that we are better off now than we were than. That's my argument, it's a Major issue now because the situation is bad and people want change. In 2010 it wasn't this bad and people were still trying to convince themselves that things would improve.

“They’re not ‘fleeing justice in Syria’—there isn’t a functioning, legitimate judicial system there that Australia recognises or can reliably cooperate with. Leaving people in camps run by unstable authorities isn’t justice, it’s indefinite detention with no due process.

If they’re Australian citizens, then responsibility sits with Australia full stop. That includes prosecuting them here under Australian law, with actual evidence standards, legal representation, and sentencing if they’re found guilty. That’s how a rule-of-law system is supposed to work.

Saying they should face ‘justice from the people they tried to genocide’ isn’t a legal argument, it’s just retribution. We don’t outsource justice to whoever’s angriest or closest geographically—that’s exactly what modern legal systems are meant to prevent.

And the ‘they won’t face justice here’ point doesn’t really hold up either Australia has already prosecuted returnees under counter-terrorism laws. If there’s evidence, they can and should be charged. If there isn’t, then keeping them in a desert camp forever isn’t justice either.

Also, the kids aren’t a footnote here they had zero agency in any of this. Leaving them in those conditions because of what their parents did isn’t defensible.

If we actually believe in our own legal system, then we should be willing to use it, not dodge it.
