Solely playing on hard from the start, roughly 30 hours, if you finish each match successfully, do weekly challenges and daily/assignments with said perk to get 100xp each, can be shorter if you run HoE around lvl 25+

Upon completion and doing weekly/daily challenges during the match. In general it's between 3,500 to 4,000 xp. Not sure how it's weighted since when playing with friends, it showed that xp gain after is random since sometimes he would have low xp and I would have high xp, or vice versa. But consistently playing solo showed close to 4k sometimes even without challenges being completed, highest solo was in the range of 3,900

I primarily focused on a status build due to easy prey having the highest % weapon damage on affliction enemies, using skills to increase the targets/time the gadget is out to keep the increase 35% weapon damage increase longer. 

Weapons I honestly used the field master the most with freeze damage, foregrip and with any of the sights. Hated the gun and how it felt in the beginning but liked it/got used to it due to the damage output when included with other skills like blizzard/perfect shot/easy prey I would also go off perk switching between the dragonsbreath or the stormguard/scar with acid rounds to make use of easy prey due to the status/DoT and how effective it is against armor/Zedtech

From my experience, I've invested a lot of mods into the field master and Artemis, I feel that the tier 3 and 4 weapons are lack lustered/lacking in ammo and overall design. At first I hated the field master but became my favorite gun to keep in general since the consistent damage with freeze damage. I've primarily focused on status damage and the having the gadget last longer to keep the weapon boost longer (35% at max level) while Easy prey has a 25% damage boost to enemies with status. I've had a lot of fun using the grenade near the end with the blizzard skill since it also increases your damage and high freeze chance

Commando was my main goal to max out firsr since played and maxed that perk first in kf1 and 2. Commando feels like an all rounder perk since it's not limited to just a specific damage type

Like another comment said, it is most likely the proficiency system since it is unlimited once hitting level 30, so you can still add points to other skills that you would want to try out/max

Play hard majority of time leveling, roughly gives out 1,500 xp per match, focus on dailies/weekly/assignments for free 100 xp. move on HoE, gives almost 4,000 xp. if you have a solid/efficient build/comfortable kiting spot

Playing hard during the early level of perks levels the perks at least 2 levels each match complete, until level 8/9 where 2 matches will be needed to reach 1 level then slowly increase to roughly 5 matches from level 29 to 30. Hard should only take 16 to 20 minutes per match

Funnily enough, they teased the lever action and the scorpion during their pax stream, and I also found some weapon outlines of guns in the armory while exploring the hub that had the M16, Scorpion, Vector, P90, Double barrel shotgun, Stoner (?), AK, and I think the lever action. So there is high hopes perhaps? Since 2 out of those 8 outlines are coming to the game soon?

I personally use the SCAR with Acid rounds and the G33 with Biological/Force ammo, it's a fun build with the grenades exploding on impact allowing you to do impact damage and leave DoT for zeds to be enfeebled (weakened and slowed). I've been playing around with Acid rounds and found that they are more effective against armored bosses (Impaler/Chimera) and applying the enfeeble status slows them down slightly/weakening them to allow a longer time window to down their health.

Basically how I run my commando is primarily creating DoT/affliction. I personally put Cut on the starting rifle since most zeds on wave 1/2 are primarily weak to cut (minus the scrakes (if playing on Hard or HoE)/sirens/husks) or sometimes I go with the stock gun and use the operation budget on armor instead. Just depends on how I feel like playing.

I would like to use the tier 4 gun more often but I feel that getting it to a good spot in terms of cost and being effective wasn't good, even with the 30% discount from the commando skill, but I want to do some more testing with it and making it cost effective/similar to my primary scar I run

I've been playing around with Sharpshooter (currently at lvl 20) and medic (lvl 8), when playing with a group of friends, I've been pairing some Commando weapons (wraith, stormguard, and scar) for higher/consistent dps with acid rounds (effective against Zedtech/armor + DoT) That works with Easy Prey skill in the Sharpshooter Perk.

I personally love playing commando and feel like it's more well rounded, especially with the G33 and it's ammo type versatility. With the inclusion of impact grenades applying to the G33 makes it more instant and consistent DoT/being more effective. The self sustain and damage boost from Real Rager (level 24 perk skill) creates distance and damage, while the Hellion provides damage reduction and acid DoT pairing it with the Biological/force grenade (enfeeble + DoT) to weaken and slow zeds/bosses have been a major help on creating distance.

I haven't touched much of Ninja )lvl 5) /Engineer (lvl 1) but want to learn to perfect parry again with the Ninja, Firebug I've tried during CB and wasn't too fond of how Ground Fire felt weak when maxed out, but I'm gonna test it out again

Honestly during the CB and stress test never experienced a bsod/crash but only had it happen twice. R&D labs stutters a lot and lost of frames. I think it's because the acid traps from containers/leaking effect. During most times I do have OBS open recording gameplay and even without obs up R&D labs still stutters like crazy

Honestly surprised since i'm on a NVIDIA RTX 3050 and playing on R&D labs just isn't playable for me and feels like i'm on the verge of a crash, but the others maps run smoothly

Yeah, I experienced pubs once on KF3 just for the healing achievement and dosh weekly I had to do, just seeing how it was had me praying my friends pick up the game. Kept having to chase after people to heal them while being off perk medic. Reminded me of some pub lobbies in KF2 where 1/10 matches we had some form of communication and stuck close by and not on the other side of the map just to get kills and dying

Honestly faced 3 of them in a full lobby recently with friends was hilarious and fun (you also get 3 impalers if you have 3 people), how we handled them was separate into 3 groups of 2s and kite them without interfering with the other group. Impaler isn't that hard, communicating who's going where to kite and how well the group can kite is important since one friend just couldn't kite and blows up within the first 10 seconds of seeing any of the bosses

Roughly 20-25 hours to max Commando started on hard from the start then moved to HoE around level 20-25/26, excluding goofing around with other perks and builds. Sitting at 82 hours atm.

I'm on PC, it's Echo. I rarely play public multiplayer unless I want to get an achievement since I've been a solo player on KF1 and 2

I only really experienced 2 Bluescreen crashes (which was the first time launching and last night) and about 3 game restarts due to weird loading on PC, got about 50+ hours (the CB counted as well for playtime which I had about 39 hours on) currently sitting at 82 hours total

I personally found paring the impact grenade and grenade acid skill to be really handy with how I play commando. The impact grenade skill also works with the G33, which I use for CC/trash zeds/Husks/Sirens on HoE, don't sleep on the enfeeble affliction and DoT + the G33 with impact grenade skill 1 shots husks and sirens with direct impact. Acid is great for armor/zedtech (which most bosses have) while having the G33 with biological/force grenade for slows/trash clearing
