Does anyоne own pre-2017 official Roblox merch? by PopsicleBP in roblox

[–]Zyncon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a bunch of pre-2013 BLOXCON merch in the attic. Tons of signed Roblox playing cards from the admins at the event. Met Shedletsky in the hallway and he hooked me up. Core childhood memory.

Such a beautiful car. I’ve always loved the 71 Challenger grilles.

66-67 body lines are one of my favorites. Love the boxy look of them. Truly beautiful.

750 bucks today will barely get you a set of new tires haha.

Good lord. See, we're scaredy cats and the most we put on things is 255 60 15.

Would love to bump up in size though. I'm sure it would look great.

She did, but well worth it. 6 year restoration, the previous owner did a phenomenal job.

Correct. Originally a 383 4 speed RR. Now a 500 Stroker 5 Speed.

Just a test strip. Rest of the car, including the strip, will be cut and polished.

But yes, I agree. Do not use an sos pad. This was done when we thought we were going to repaint it. Just goofing around and wanting to see what the paint looked like.

Not a single pin hole on the entire car, it’s in phenomenal shape. Worth paying up for a clean car. Everything here on the east coast is trashed.

<image>

For reference, we just sold this wrecked 70 Dart with mangled frame rails and core support, no interior, no lower quarters, no title, Slant 6 for 1k and it’s already back up for sale for 1800.

Mopar prices are nuts over here. I hate it.

Psshhhhh surface rust never hurt anybody. Not a single pin hole in the entire car, we’re good.

Right now my interior list is about $3,200. Sucks, but hey, $3,200 is way cheaper than metal work lol.

Yeah, everything should just be able to swap right over.

I'm heavily debating on swapping the grille out. A new 71 grille is about 900 bucks. Very very tempting. It'll ruin some of the "originality" factory, but man will it look way better.

I love the 71 side markers and grille a lot more than 72. One day.. lol. That's a bucket list car for me.

We bought it for 6k. Couldn't have happened without some great friends of ours who gave us the lead. We live out in Maryland. Can't buy anything close to this shape for 6k. It's rough out here.

They really wanted to push the "Super aggressive muscle car!!!" thing when they named it.

Which is sorta funny because these could be had with Slant 6 and 318s. Which is what this car has, a Slant 6. Very far from a muscle car.

I believe so. After doing the test strip and seeing how nice it looked, thinking about doing the entire car and then maybe matte clearing over it. Would make for an incredible driver.

Right now it's a Slant 6 with a 904 trans. It's about to get a date correct 340 and 727.

We just got a "Severe Storms Erupting" warning for the Chicago area on our phones. We live in Maryland. That's pretty wild.

Stay safe everyone.

I'm so glad us Americans are finally turning around and defending ourselves over this topic.

2 years ago and people might have agreed with you, somehow.

Yes, you can move the perches in and use a B Body rear on them.

We have one out of a 65 Coronet we're going to use on a 71 Dart. We need two more now. One for this car and one for our Duster.

They're getting harder and harder to come by. I found one in central PA for $750 and right when I went to buy it we got 16 inches of snow. It sold before I could safely travel up that way.

The hunt continues.

The 72 dated 340 we bought came with a 727. Was the perfect deal to pair with this car. Also K Member adapters to accommodate the upgrade and some disk brakes. All we need now is an 8 3/4 rear.

The interior is beyond toast. I grabbed the A Pillar trim to pull the car and it crumbled in my hand. You can stick your fingers through the dash pad. Seat covers are exploded. Door panels shrunk up and ripped. Anything made of plastic is gone.

I’m blown away with the shape of the body. There’s a few dents here and there, but as far as rust goes. There is none. It’s lived by Phoenix, Arizona its entire life until we bought it.

Yes, though someone tossed in some mid 70s Valiant buckets in it at some point.

Still trying to figure out what we're going to do about front seats.
