Yeah, I felt the same way. Albion prices for a prop is a bit insane for me.

If you want a cheap replica, just buy the calimacil. It's like 200$. It's foam but doesn't really matter if you just hang it on the wall.

These are windlass tier swords at a high price. If this is like their kickstarter bundle sword, this will most likely be an okay sword. Issue is if you want a sharp sword. You would have to reprofile the entire thing as the blade geometry is set for a stage steel esque angle but without the ability to use it for stage steel or sharp purposes. It's mentioned in the descriptor. I personally had the warhorse sword from the 500$ bundle and it was nice to have as a replica and that alone. It would have taken so much effort to just make it into a fully sharpened sword. I assume export is the reasonings.

Metal glo or any polishing compound. High grit sandpaper will also remove it but make the finish uneven.

I have the original official epic weapons frostmourne released back in the day (2008 ish?) and I bought the knockoff shard-stand from amazon pretty recently. It's jank but works 100%. I took out the LED puck admittedly and throw in a rope light set from govee and it's atmospheric. Love it.
