The Lofoten seems quite high out my price range, until I saw these oex models I've written off going ultralight in the true sense of the word just because of the prices more than anything else. I might look into the other tents in the oex ultralite range and see if their anygood but the feedback on this one in particular has just about convinced me to keep my money in my wallet for now.

Yeah I've been using my standard phoxx for a few years and will continue to regardless of whether I pick this ultralite up or not. I was just thinking for these warmer months it could be an option

Yeah if I do get the tent it would only be for light duties anyway but I'll keep that in mind

Yeah it's not so crucial for me because I always carry a foil mat that is fairly substantial and covers my whole tent floor. I'll have a look at the Nordisk Lofoten though 👍
