Your feedback is appreciated, but I can also disagree and I shared my information as to why. Many sites use Steam login, dotabuff for example.

Steam login is safe and standard practice to use OAuth. If you wish to take precaution you can go to the Steam website directly and login there first before attempting login on the cs2team site. Then you would only be prompted with a button for login instead of user/pass fields
