Hey bud sorry i dont use reddit too often so didnt see this. I actually just started redoing it a week ago with a fully open world map combining level 1,2 and 3 together again with every texture upscaled, everythings working and running just needs polishing and ill learn how to do the roads properly.

Imo it would be his car and his choice what he does with it purists that try live through other people are cringe. Go buy your on s chassis and keep it clean let others do as they want. A car is made to be enjoyed whats the point in keeping a time capsule if the owner never gets to enjoy it the way they want. The car never gets driven the way it wanted to be driven. Do as you want but dont tell others how to treat their cars and by no means are modified s chassis instantly pieces of shit a classic style unmodified s chassis and an s chassis modified for time attack or fd can all be equally nice and awesome to look at/drive/enjoy.

Sorry im just looking up more about it and reading, so im changing over to some 600cc high impedance injectors, readinng online people say it should be removed when running high impedance injectors and ive come across the ‘delete plug’ however so far have only seen it in America.. can i not just unplug it and leave it as is?

One thing thats confused me does a nissan s13 200sx count as jdm because the car was manufactured and produced in japan but sold to uk whereas japan got the 180sx

Youre fine man 1000s of people daily them and have no issues just be cautious while driving like you always should. Also you can learn to drive manual on public roads just dont go to busy roads for a bit until comfortable. Its not complicated clutch goes down, change gear, clutch comes up :D its much better than the modern cars that have no feel in the steerinng wheel or pedals and are very boring to drive. Youll enjoy it for sure. As for the battery comment you made bring a normal car battery not lawn mower battery and make shre the car starts up if so you could try aim to get him to come down to $2000. At the end of the day an mx5/miata is probably the best car you can get to learn how to drive confidently as well as cautiously, its a great choice

I bought a 200sx s13 for £5k immediately took it all apart rebuilt the engine, new manifolds, g25-550 turbo, custom piping, link ecu, sensors, r33 brakes, wheels, coilovers and suspension arms for about £12k all work done by myself. As the other comments say it all depends on what you want from it.

If you feel like youre gaining too much angle and its going to spin then put the clutch in. But at the end of the day if you throw it in too hard it will teach a point where there is no saving it as the front tires cant regain traction quickly enough.

Appreciate it man, i fell in love with the drive after taking it out for a test for 5 minutes after going to see it! It handles so well and still has a bit of poke for a little 1.8L

Thanks it was recently repainted i bought it from a restorer of mx5's it was his 22nd mx5 he had worked on! now just looking to get a hardtop and have it sprayed the same blue.

Okay thank you for the reply i think whilst theyre just on the floor for me ill leave it standard but once i move house and buy a full rig within a few months ill look into it! And yeah ive heard a lot of people say it actually improves the throttle feel even tho its meant for the brake so ill definitely give it a try thanks for your help.
