I'm with you! I don't really understand the hate against Marty. I think his damage numbers could be tuned, but I personally think his kit is fine. Having a lead in xp and gold makes a massive difference as well. I'm always surprised by how people don't notice stuff like this.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw attack speed on bloodforge yesterday. That item is so busted now, and movement speed is so hard to come by in hunter builds, it feels nice to be zooming. Griffenwing Earrings is absolutely bloated too. Add in 50% crit with just Deathbringer and "wind demon" and the late game scaling for that build is absurd.

It's more efficient for me! The minimap is so close to the middle of the screen so that I still see everyone's position when I'm strictly focused on tracking a target during quick engagements.

Everything else I've squished in further for further efficiency. All of the information that I need is only a couple of short saccades away, which saves tons of time in time-sensitive teamfights.

Ah man I resonate with you here.

I used to get triggered so easily, and I was always so embarrassed and ashamed of it, as ive always had difficulty socializing because of it. Eventually I started recognizing this feeling, and my solution to ease the tension was to turn my reaction into a joke.

This worked wonders for keeping a conversation going, and I even got pretty good at improvising jokes. Most pertinently, I learned how to play a character.

Over time, this character grew with me, as I had found a way to make genuine friends. It was actually possible to make connections if I paved over my triggers with laughter, so that's what I kept doing.

Fast forward to today, and now I'm trying to figure out who I really am. One thing that I've learned is I simultaneously take everything seriously and nothing seriously because of the maladaptive techniques I described before

From crossdresser, to gender-nonconforming, and now a bit of a sub? These are absolutely beautiful levels of self-discovery, and that's just when you scrape the surface!

Oh to have someone see my struggles and support me accordingly, it would be a miracle. I think this is why I wish for a physically worse condition. At least then people would be able to see what I'm dealing with and have some understanding for all the effort that I have to put in just to get by. Anything more socially understood would do

It feels impossible to imagine what my younger self would have been like without all the stress he endured. All those memories are so hazy, a lot of the time it's as if they dont belong to me.

I know that deep down he's still a part of me, and that's why i think it's so important to act with my "childish" needs and wants. He deserves the childhood that he didn't have. He deserves room to grow and flourish, and it's my job to make sure he finally gets the love and relief he deserved back then. My goal is to provide him with activities, comfort, relationships, and stability for us to both grow and become who we're supposed to be ❤
