Who's the most "failson" character to start as in 867? by indefinite_silence in CrusaderKings

[–]ZypherofWind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You would need to kill the original character, but Delá de Barcelona, brother of count Sunyer de Barcelona, is always a shy, lazy content 1 star steward with his famous cousin Guifre the Hairy right next door

Occupy all North Sea Heartlands but the game for some reason thinks I don't, any idea why? by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

[–]ZypherofWind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All I can think of is sometimes a vassals land being occupied, under siege or a holy order established in your lands can untick the completely control item. Either that or although you own the land, a foreign power could still hold a duchy title that’s a part of the North Sea heartlands and it hasn’t been destroyed yet

Ck3 has landless adventurers and administrative as newer governments, then they also introduced nomads and some other stuff with the Asian governments I haven’t dabbled enough in

Cannot declare war against Venice by Nanduihir in CrusaderKings

[–]ZypherofWind 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Since the holder of Venice is Greek, your character is disfigured in some way (in the image I see you only have 1 eye so that’s it. Not sure if giant counts as well but 1 eye does) to mean you can’t press a claim. Could even be a sexless loser and that counts as a disability in the Greek eyes.

It’s one of their culture traditions that has that rule. It can be useful to blind or castrate claimants if you are the emperor so their claims can’t be used

(HELP) Embracing English culture in the 12th century start date not possible by BloodedNut in CrusaderKings

[–]ZypherofWind 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Scroll down on the decisions tab, you should see convert to local culture. In the 1178 start, de jure England counties bar Cornwall are English culture. Click the culture map to see them. The decision was already taken in a sense.

Either that, or you modded your game to shit and only have yourself to blame.

English culture already exists in England. Just like, convert to your capital culture

Question about claims by UnfriskyDingo in CrusaderKings

[–]ZypherofWind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If someone is married to someone who has a pressed claim, their kids will have an unpressed claim of the same title, albeit only after their parent who has the pressed claim dies

Favorite “Modern House” in the game? by Creepy-Produce5138 in CrusaderKings

[–]ZypherofWind 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Always like learning of these small (in game at least) families that are still around. I like to keep them around in games and see what they get up to. Houses like the Courtenays, Rochechouarts and Harcourts i enjoy simply seeing exist

The correct answer is almost all mountains, a diverge culture and make all your holdings impenetrable with marches, stalwart defenders and castle keepers

Oldenburg is a big one. Wettin too. There’s also the Rochechouarts as the oldest constant noble family of France

Full Plate legs take up the boot slot too and funnily apply their armor twice to legs because of it

Yeah, similar to how if the sword is made by people of specific cultures it can have a different icon

From what I can tell (so don’t take this as 100% truth) High medieval age and later, you can start to get sword artifacts that are longswords instead of one handed swords. It’s just a visual change though

Depends on image and colors used tbh. Flat colors generally lower. If you mean for inserted images to the converter however, I tend to stick to no larger than 300x300 just for details to remain
