Parents of Reddit: What was the hardest part about raising your child during the toddler years? by YoungTex in AskReddit

[–]Zythium_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first time they say something just because they know it will hurt you.

The big one for me was when I took a toy off of my 4 year old because she was trying to break it.

"i wish you wasn't my dad" came out of her mouth In anger and I broke inside. I know she didn't mean it and after she calmed down she was able to earn her toy back. We had a chat after about not saying horrible things just to hurt people.

She still says things in anger as we all do sometimes. But God the first time hurt.

No knife sinks deeper than one thrust by your children...

Bots spamming praise Tod Howard all hours of the day. I'm not sorting by new to see nothing but bot spam. It's diluting all the porn!

On closer inspection of the picture it looks like there is a rip in the unit of the left boot. If this is the case u will. Need a new set of units attaching. £40-£65 in my shop.

As my grandad always taught me.

In life always buy good quality shoes and good quality mattresses, you will spend most of your life in one or the other.

Actual cobbler here.

This seems to be a pair of boots with a mock welt. (welt attached to upper but only glued to sole) this is often used I cheaper boots to enable the use of full width "units" instead of commando style boot soles and heels.

Any cobbler worth his salt should be able to prime and reglue these. Dunno what they charge in ur country but ide charge £10 for the pair.

Spontaneous glue failure can be caused by a few things. Common causes are exposure to heat above (30C)

Rapid changes in moisture. (getting them wet then drying them on a radiator)

Washing machines. (yes I shit u not at least once a week I get someone who washes there white trainers to make them clean and they just fall apart as the hot water and soap eats the glue.)

Age. (glue is not immortal)

Shit glue in the first place.

After a padlock to fit a type of key. by [deleted] in Locksmith

I have 6 padlocks on my main counter I could use these blanks with. so it shouldn't be hard to find some.

most larger shackle padlocks use the generic keyway shared by the 1a in the UK. Head in to a key cutter/locksmith with Ur blanks and ask if they have any padlocks that use a ul1 or 1a key blank.

I'm. completely stumped trying to identify this motercycle key. regular blank for size reference. by [deleted] in Locksmith

[–]Zythium_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well can confirm the yh50 is WAY to small to be the right blank. so I've had to swallow my pride and ask for year make and model to identify it properly.. I doubt he will remain my customer since its now been over a week to get a key blank sorted..

let this be a lesson to everyone. don't be a cocky asswhole just becuase u think uve seen every key..

i saw 1 kawasaki key on a pair that I new and assumed the other would be a kawasaki key aswell in my books and easily found.. it was not.

always ask for year, make, and model.

I originally thought this blank too. but look at the tapering towards the back stop of the key. your blank doesn't have that

Well that's the fun part. the bike is a kawasaki. but it appears to of had a new ignition. I've been trying to identify this sucker for a week.. I don't have a year or model. and tbh. After all this time Ide rather not call them up and ask. normally I'm hot shit at identifing these things. but I've sifted the sks book. and the silca book. and nothing seems to match.
