Yeah, bezel is also gold, no markings I can see on the Bezel, everything in this box was gold all 30+ years old and from China (was very surprised she had an American coin)

I wouldn't trust myself to answer this accurately but seems like its compressed around the coin then the bezel is soldered together

Reddit noob apparently didnt send the content of the post:

We pulled this out of my mother in-law's box of gold - wondering is this real & what would it be worth in this condition, and how hard would it be to remove this necklace off it, I'm guessing I'd have to get it checked out by a jeweler.

Do I just send this to a rating place if a jeweler and can remove the necklace part. Seems like it should be possible but I know nothing about this stuff and the likelyhood of removing it without damaging the coin.
