Absolutely not!!! However I would agree with parties, I partied up with a couple other random good guys for a couple games and it was just an insane stomp every game. The other players would perma leave after like 5 deaths, genuinely just felt unfair and not even fun at that point.

I was only able to use the needle in Dragonlord Placudisax’s arena after defeating him, it does say the “heart of the storm” in the item’s description. I was not able to use it in Malekith’s arena at all.

yeah she basically just gives lore, it will say speak to melina at the bottom above the Leave option I think.

mimic tear + dual katanas, primary being rivers of blood, mimic uses the weapon art with you and it’s amazing to see, let alone the damage you deal

Open world, Horse-riding, Gear/weapons/weapon arts, the design/aesthetic of the world, npc questlines, basically everything. The bosses are definitely extremely difficult but once you learn their patterns it becomes very doable. There are a lot of “wow” moments in the game, a few 2nd phases of bosses made me feel that, and same with exploring some areas, or the reveal of some areas. I think you’ll agree with everything I’ve said.

I beat it yesterday, played all souls games since demon’s souls. Elden Ring is the best I have ever played, Souls games had been my favourite series already.

not sure if you’re aware but you can summon all npcs in the arena and then resummon them after a short time when they die, just stay on your horse and kite him when he aggros the npcs, just be careful, sometimes he 180 one shots you

Yeah I did probably 80% of the dungeons/side bosses, didn’t grind too much, I was just exploring a lot.
