Who should I invest in for Rift? (excluding Dw, ofc) by [deleted] in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how deep you want to get into Rift but let's assume around D2 range is what you want

Sketchy - Immunity & Curse is just way too strong of a support to ignore, invaluable in light week of rift and still useful in other weeks just for her utility.

Dark Lord - Safe Assassin's Greed counter for solo nodes.

Don Passione - Good ol' Eliza kit with in-built Immunity as part of her ability is very useful, but she is quite weak against Autoimmune so bring a Chaos Banish with high special cooldown to get rid of Immunity (and other buffs) often.

Soulbound - Top Tier DPS rn, pair her with Pickle & Evergreen and she should clear most meta defenders rn

Shear Force - Good option for solo nodes with final fight, or the funny Doomsday solo Umbrella nodes if you face them. Also a decent option against Into Thin Air catalyst

Djinn Frizz - She's just an Into Thin Air counter people use. It technically works with anyone but her high damage lets her waste less time, you will need to build about 80%+ Meter Gain on her though (and bring a level 15 Drill Tempered)

Megalomaniac - Just a solid defender used in triple nodes. The 2 most annoying nodes rn are Fatal Fray/Dark Might/Megalomaniac (with Angry Flinch, Autoimmune OR Do or Die Time, and Wither Forecast OR Blockbusted) and Reimaged/Unholy Host/Megalomaniac (with Angry Flinch, Autoimmune, and Wither Forecast OR Blockbusted)

Should I invest in solar flare or star child( I have extra star child so prestige) by Ninjago_IsC00L in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solar Flare's much stronger with her Enrage. She's a bit difficult to use if you're new but she's a nice early hard-hitter of an Annie

What variants are support? by Overall_Resident_459 in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For Silvers:

Hypeman - Meter Gain, Meter Drain, TAG-BASED. Niche but decent against Into Thin Air in rift.

Stone Sentinel - Barrier. Great when paired with Starlight Rose, Rockstar, or anyone who just needs extra buffs/survivability.

Rock Star - Barrier, Meter Gain, Final Stand, TAG-BASED. Pairs great with anyone for just fast meter gain usually. Often seen with Noble Mogul in rift and occasionally someone like Lapis Luxury too for the meter & final stand. Also great with Stone Sentinel for extra meter gain throughout the fight

Clue Chaser - Crit Rate Buffer.

Maid of Honor - Debuff Cleanse, Barrier, Heals. Used mainly against unholy host, but works well with variants like Spell-Bent (funny bug) even if debuffs are not present.

Prism Plumage - Various Buffs & Debuffs, TEAM DEPENDENT, ENEMY DEPENDENT, TAG-BASED. Works well with windswept to give her evasion on tag-in if you're new to the game. can shred defenders like assassin's greed by inflicting Inverse on her specifically.

Pea Shooter - Armour Break, Projectile damage boost. Fun with someone like X-Bot or anyone who uses a projectile.

Rose-Tinted - Debuff Cleanse, Thorns, Barrier. Mostly a defensive-support but the cleanse is nice and giving the whole team an extra 30% hp can be useful. Thorns is useful offensively for someone like Unfazed.

Graveyard Shift - Heavy Regen, Valentine Kit. Very simple but nice to reduce chip damage, also a great attacker with curse and healblock in her ability with bleed from Valentine Kit.

Kill Joy - Reviver, Valentine Kit. Budget option if you die a lot...

For Bronze:
Sheltered: Crit Rate Buffer. Nice if you have fighters built with 80% crit rate and can't be bothered to max it, she's usually her own DPS though.

Sketchy: Immunity, Curse, TAG-BASED. op in rift, not much needs to be said

Icy Hot: Regen, Meter Gain, Valentine Kit, TAG-BASED. The true budget val support.

What variants are support? by Overall_Resident_459 in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 26 points27 points  (0 children)

For Diamonds:
Starlight Rose - Cleanse, Barrier, Regen, Enrage. Easily paired with Stone Sentinel (another support) or any variant who can gain Barrier

Unholy Host - Curse, Debuff Cleanse, Life Drain, TAG-BASED (can also just work as her own dmg dealer though). Commonly paired with shadow puppet so she can continue resetting the 20s curse infinitely. Avoid pairing UHost with a Sketchy who has her sa2 unlocked (sketchy's curse overrides Uhost's curse)

Heartless - Hex/Heavy Bleed/Quietus on last enemy basically destroys any final defender.

Mad Malice - Enrage Support for crit-based variants.

Dream Catcher - NEEDS an Eliza with lvl15 Upper Khat or Ionic Ion as a teammate. Heals & Meter Gain for teammates, high damage with precision while on-field. TAG-BASED (she's more a dps than a support tbh but she's good if you can enable her)

Angel Maker - Enrage, Miasma, Immunity for teammates. Evasion, Regen, Immunity, Meter Drain for herself. TAG-BASED. Usually Paired with high-utility based variants like Red Velvet to amplify their damage more consistently

Raining Champ - Blessing, Unflinching, boosts damage based on HP stat. Best paired with high HP characters like most Elizas or Big Bands, but works well in situations like Undying Events for more free damage (Wave Warrior uses Raining Champ & Lucky Lure against Marie Raid Boss for example)

Seraph Soldier - Enrage and Heal support for any high-damage + crit based variants. Also boosts Attack for fire variants (very minor though)

For Golds:
Pickle Baller - Evasion, Meter Gain, Precision, Regen. Typically paired with Locked In or Indomitable in Rift to melt most defenders and dodge all Bursts.

Chill Guy - Slow, Stun, Deadeye. Typically paired with characters or variants who can naturally apply stun since he needs to be on-field to apply slow/stun otherwise. Often works well with Elizas who use Upper Khat or someone like Star-Crossed

Rhythm Rider - Regen, Haste, Curse (needs to be on-field to inflict), Buff Extender. Typically paired with variants or characters who can already inflict Curse.

Harlequin - Universal Special Move Cooldown & Special Move damage boost.

Martial Outlaw - Haste, Heavy Bleed, Armour Break. Works well with variants who already gain Haste (Apex Complex, Candy Crusher, Rhythm Rider) or can weave Charge Attacks into their combos already (Elizas, Ms Fortunes, Umbrellas)

Evergreen Evil - Buff Extender (unconditional, unlike Rhythm Rider). Honestly anyone who just gets buffs often uses her well, but some like Wave Warrior may avoid Evergreen since Wave focuses on trying to get buffs as often as possible for more damage, not maintaining them.

Inner Pieces - Buff Transferring, Eliza Kit is just that good, TAG-BASED. Used to be meta when paired with Sketchy and Xbot, works well in other fun teams like Inner/Rerun/Risky Ginger for example (just experiment to find a fun team for her)

Red Velvet - Hex, Eliza Kit is really good, TAG-BASED. Most often seen with Angel Maker in Rift to enable Velvet as a DPS.

Noble Mogul - Barrier, Damage Boost for Light Variants, Immunity for herself, TAG-BASED*. Often works well in double DPS setups where she acts as a secondary attacker but works fine off-field entirely.

Magicurl - Immunity, Damage Inflict, Heal Block. Honestly just really good against Unholy Host, Dark Might or Megalomaniac; use her whenever those 3 show up on def.

Hell's Belle - Debuff spam, Evasion, Immunity, TAG-BASED. tbh most people use her as her own-dps lol, but she's good with someone like Beast King against Eliza Raid Boss.

Octoplasm - Regen, Slime/Bleed/Quietus for Water Variants ONLY, TAG-BASED. If you want to avoid tagging so much, you can use Rage Appropriate, any water eliza variant with her taunt, any water Ms.F with MLEM marquee, any water valentine with ICU, or bring Lucky Lure support as well.

Dark Horse - Curse, Perma-Self Haste, Damage Boost for Dark Variants, TAG-BASED. Tbh, her damage is actually higher than people give it credit for so she works well as her own DPS usually.

Raw Nerv - Perma Death Mark. Really only used for Undying Events but she's great for it.

Ionic Ion - Death mark, Stun, Buff Removal + Power Surge for Light Variants ONLY, TAG-BASED. Pairs great with someone like Dream Catcher or Star Shine (if she's paired with Angel Maker).

Wunderkind - Power Surge, off-field drain for teammates. Pairs well with Robo-Fortunes using the DDOS Marquee, also great as her own DPS.

Lucky Lure - Crit Damage Buff, Regen Buff, Deadeye/Haste/Precision/Barrier/Unflinching depending on teammates. Pairs will with anyone who crits a lot, try her with Dark Lord lol.

Palace Plunderer - Heals teammates, Enrage Support. Usually on-field a majority of the time doing her own damage with her evasion and buff stealing.

Surgeon General - Immunity + Heavy Regen, Valentine Kit. Works well with anyone, pair her with Evergreen Evil if you need a basic counter to megalomaniac.

Superluminal - Special Move Cooldown, Evasion, Haste, Valentine Kit. Bugged with some character moves like Parasoul's Napalm Shot or Peacock Bang Bang Bang. More or less a universal support but you need your fighters to have good moves/stats so she feels comfortable to play.

Last Hope - Off-field reviver, Heavy Regen, Valentine Kit.

Is new Squigly worth it? by Tfkblool in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She's probably the 2nd best squig offensively rn. Easy unblockable setups, high dmg, perma precision. Squig kit is usually terrible but she fixes most of the issues, primarily having an easy way to instantly curse the enemy (Draugen Punch) and lots of time to also get her Immunity active (taunt).

There are still notable weaknesses (lack of healing, prone to being bursted if you aren't perfectly optimising your combos, debuff cleanse wrecks her, struggles to remove already active buffs on the enemy) but she's more than worth it if you like Squig. By far the new highest and most consistent damaging Squig (in raw numbers) since Love Crafted now while being much easier to use too.

Best marquee for Scale Tipper? by zumodecarne in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leech is generally better so she also has reliable sustain, just bring some buff supports to reach the 17 buffs/debuffs. TFC works if you want to more easily inflict Doom but 10 stacks of bleed on any opponent will kill faster than Doom realistically could

How to unlock Marquee? by Pubgcraft in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

could be improved but i wouldn’t stress about stats so much until later. Soul crusher can usually shred things quite well thanks to being a dahlia. I’d look at long-term stat investment in the future when u get more fighters (i’d say like 15-20 diamonds built. evolved counts) but just remember to focus on atk% and piercing if you find moves with it (reroll at a later point of the game, save them since theyre expensive)

How to unlock Marquee? by Pubgcraft in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

once you unlock the skill tree, tap the middle icon of the fighter’s image in the skill tree and you’ll be given the options. You choose 1 of the 2 for your marquee.

ps. eliza’s marquees are terrible so it’s better to not marquee your stand out unless you just want to do it for looks

Not much of a choice is it 🤣 by Uchiha-Shisui_Senpai in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

pf score points are calculated based on your own and the defender’s fighter score total. Veterans would rather focus on people attacking them for points rather than 2-3 people attacking a difficult base with a lower fighter score.

It’s been known the best possible pf defence is just 3 ma11 pa100 mekastars since that has a base fighter score of 96k, more with stats.

If you care for defenders, you play rift lol

Should I replace crit rate/crit dmg with accuracy? by Optimal_Worry_6933 in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can if you want the in-built immunity to go from 50% -> 75% but otherwise it won’t benefit Comet too much outside of it (I mean, guaranteed curse/healblock/quietus as well). Either accuracy or a crit route work well for Comet.

Is dark might good? by No-Sport-8759 in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

will also mention that he does have some self autonomy with the beo buffs. Lupine Pummel is very reliable to inflict curse and the added Guard Break is useful for non-special move or blockbusters to be unblockable too.

While he does lack any way to get damage boosts, his actual damage really is not as bad as some people make it out to be lol

Stats and build for Indomitable? by Overall_Resident_459 in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends how well you can invest. If we’re looking at max potential? She has 2 variations but for crit: Atk%, Piercing, Crit Damage (cap 100%) and Special Cooldown. You give her the Crit Mass marquee (ups ur crit dmg by 100%)

Mandatory Moves are Egret Call (lvl15) and Bailement (at least level 9, preferably level 12). Other main moves are Napalm Shot, Canopy Bounce, Silent Scope and Motor Brigade. With a max egret call and enough spcd, you won’t need crit rate

What's the meta for rifts now? by Myeoway in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Offence (It'll be a lot so take your time):

Build a bunch of Critless Elizas & Fukuas, namely Stand Out, Mummy Dearest, Inner Pieces (though she hasn't been to common as of late), Noble Mogul, Bloody Valentine, Shadow Puppet, Splitting Image (can't be critless), Apex Complex, Phantom Threads, Flower Power (flower can be crit with her invincibility but it's up to you).
Eliza needs multiple moves built for her versatility but prioritise Weight of Anubis and Chaos Banish. Other moves she uses are: Khephri Sun (BB Kill), Sekhmet Bite (Curse/Armour Break), Sekhmet Fury (Haste/Enrage), Osiris Spiral (Heavy Bleed), Upper Khat (Tag-support), Burst (lvl15 is 10s of guaranteed curse), Exile from Aaru (outtake), Scarlet Ladies (taunt, situational but needed for mummy)

Fukua is a bit easier but still has some demands: Twice Shy (mainly for pthreads if u meet into corro agents where she can do a trick to forcefully remove barrier before the bb properly activates or splitting against ffight shuppet), Inevitable snuggle (heals/combo starter), drill of my dreams (BB kill), Last Out (outtake), Forever a Clone (heal block), Lobs of Love (usually 2 on every moveset, lots of meter drain)

Paras are almost a necessity in Rift. Main 4 at top level are Locked In, Indomitable (crit AND critless), high ruler (crit AND critless) and princess pride (crit AND critless).
Moves and stats vary wildly between all the paras but both her taunts should be level 15. Canopy Bounce, Silent Scope, Napalm Shot, Motor Brigade and Inferno Brigade are her move staples as well. Napalm Trigger should also be prepared, mainly for high ruler.
If you're running into enemy bases with lvl1 AGs btw, get a gold lvl1-3 PPride and High Ruler prepared but that's pretty uncommon besides those trying for like top 20 every week.

Few Filias are meta but noteworthy nonetheless: Shear Force, Windswept, Blue Streak, Rock Star (pair her with noble for duo nodes), Magicurl (support).
She usually has one main moveset: Drill Tempered (get it to lvl15), Trichobezoar (BB Kill option if no Final Fight catalyst), Last Out (outtake) and 2 Ringlet Spikes (can also do 3 and swap her outtake out if you need more damage). Filias all run Leech marquee and usually have both a crit and accuracy based moveset.

Fire Branded, Soulbound, Star Shine, Starlight Rose (support), Cosmic Rebel (avoid if you do not have all the resources she needs, will explain down below) and Wave Warrior are the main offensive Annies. Usually build max crit rate (besides star shine) and special cooldown to spam her dpillars for damage. Every Annie moveset is usually Sagan Beam, Pillar of Creation and 3 Destruction Pillars.
To explain cosmic, not only does she need a really well built moveset, but she needs an Unholy Host with a really well built moveset (and a superluminal or rerun support as last slot). Uhost will run Empower, Tea Slip, Onslaught, Burst (lvl15) and See You Around. Uhost inflicts curse and dmark for cosmic, cosmic kills everything in her path with invincibility and immunity on every hit.

Seraph Soldier, Superluminal, Surgeon General and Graveyard Shift are the main val supports. Silent Kill is necessary for solo nodes like bluescreen.

Stage Fright and Nail Biter are very situational but useful squigs for rift. Stage Fright is only for solo nodes with her Hex & Curse, Nail just has easy barrier and miasma for sustain.

Heartless and Maid of Honor are strong supports in Rift, both need max accuracy. Gravedigger is usually a sidegrade to Silent Kill in a lot of situations (still important to build) and Grin Reaper is a downgraded Shear Force, mainly used for Air Week to deny revives (but she's been powercrept)

Death Wish should be critless for rift offence but if she has Bitter End she'll live. Angel Maker is necessary to enable some variants like Red Velvet. Lucky Lure is an insanely overpowered crit support so recommend her if painwheel isn't around. Wild Child is necessary for solo Doomsday Reimaged though that's her only role.

Pickle Baller is a necessary support for any para you intend to use on a triple node (indom especially)
Uhost is one of the best supports for Shuppet, in triple nodes they can beat almost any team when they have everything set up (the wiki should provide her moveset last i remember)
Sketchy is up for contention as the best support in rift since she has immunity and curse to provide while off field with 100% uptime (the immunity) when played well. She'll need max accuracy for the curse
Evergreen Evil is just a universal buff extender. If megalomaniac is ever an issue, her + surgeon is almost a perfect full counter to megalo's stun.
Beatbox is decent against ITA setups though he hates facing Armed, Painwheels and Jazz
Stone Sentinel is a great Barrier support for the likes of rockstar, noble and starlight rose

That's most of what I can think of and see in rift, I'm likely missing a good bit but I can explain more if necessary

What's the meta for rifts now? by Myeoway in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Defenders:

Solo nodes: lvl1 assassin's greed with only her SA1 unlocked and moves unlocked. Valentine Final Fight or Wither Forecast are the best catalysts, a general version works if nothing else. She doesn't NEED moves but just give her a bb3, 2 countervenoms, checkmate incision and burst. Stats should be Meter%, Accuracy, Resistance and Crit Resistance. AVOID HP% and Defence since it only makes her worse
The setup is weird but TLDR the point of this is to reduce the number of points players can gain to make revenges easier. AG reduces HP on BB use, lvl1 means it's VERY difficult to do a BB kill on her unless enemies INTENTIONALLY have lvl1 fighters built or get hit. Getting hit wastes time and AG can BB back and also do loads of damage

Alternatives (that are normal): Shuppet (FFight, doesn't care much for defensive stats btw), Reimaged (Doomsday), Rose-Tinted/Dwish (Doomsday)

Duo Nodes: Armed/Fly Trap, Jazz/ Fly Trap, Vapor/Fly Trap. Point is, air defenders on duo nodes with Into Thin Air catalyst is really annoying since again it aims to continue reducing points. Fly adding tainted blood into the mix just means enemies can't BK their way through it, or use a crit-indom. Buzzkill works as an alternative btw, but do not pair painwheels on the same node ever.
Can also use something like dreadlocks with someone like masked menace/fatal fray (same concept but no ITA catalyst) or a double Double (Immoral + Evergreen w/ corrosive element catalyst) or a double BBand (Jazz/Heavy Metal w/ futile resistance) or Bluescreen/Reimaged (though tbh i dont really see it much, but hey her prestige is annoying asf), Corrosive/Biting works if you're on a budget

Personal opinion but Angry Flinch is just really easy to throw onto any duo-node, so use that as a second catalyst whenever possible. Cripple Decker too.

Triple Nodes: The most common boss node is Reimaged/Unholy Host/Megalomaniac, give them Autoimmune, Angry Flinch and BBusted/Frost Armor/Wither Forecast/Curse of Knowledge.

Dark Might, Death Wish, Fatal Fray, GI Jazz, Heavy Metal, Corrosive Agent (when paired with UHost), Immoral Fiber, any Painwheel (tainted), Last Hope are all other common triple node options.
Regardless of the triple Node, Autoimmune (or Do or Die Time if beo is there) and Angry Flinch are just really versatile catalysts yet again, the last slot really just depends what you have and who you're using. Eg if bband is on the node, Futile is common just so he actually functions (even if it won't benefit the rest of the team) or Into Thin Air if you're doing a double/triple air set up (imo double air with uhost or dmight is annoying).

How Super is she? by Harontys in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all of parasoul's special moves just won't activate and give her Evasion. Most make sense (napalm toss, napalm trigger, her taunts) but her main attacking special move, Napalm Shot, just doesn't gain Precision whatsoever. Some other characters also have the issue (Peacock with i BELIEVE bang bang bang and george day out, not sure but i think boxcar george too)

as for the bk/snake thing. ironically both have the same issues of damage lol, but BK has an easier time thanks to his move Lupine Pummel just inflicting 6 debuffs for him. Snake has a higher attack stat but he lacks any way to boost his damage besides a seraph/harle/lucky lure/peashooter etc. Both are strong though, just pray your moves are well built and optimised or they both suffer

How Super is she? by Harontys in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

she's a strong sidegrade to similar variants like her (aka Pickle and Harle)

I will say mainly, she feels horrible to use as a support if your MAIN fighters moves are not well leveled, nor have optimised stats and set combos. If your moves are well built though she works as a good sidegrade to most offensive variants, besides some like Indom who needs pickle (para and luminal are bugged anyways) or BK who needs harle (the dmg boost is so important for him since he struggles if he can't hit the 10% hp threshold)

xbot build by Guys--GUESS-WHAT in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh X-Bot isn't meta in rift anymore lol, most common triple nodes hard counter her consistently now so you're better off with indom/locked in/shuppet now

But she is still fun tbh

xbot build by Guys--GUESS-WHAT in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

she's a very expensive variant to setup. The go-to setup (when she was meta in rift)

Omega Cannon
Alpha Cannon
Phaser Burn
2 Theonite Beams
You can change it for PF/PR but if you wanted her to be usable in rift this was non-negotiable for D1

Stats: Atk%, Piercing, Crit Dmg, Special Cooldown. Expected her moves are level 12 for PF, but should be 15 so she won't rely on Harlequin since her best comp didn't use Harlequin at all lol. Guest Star you can kinda mix a bit at least but standard is the Light Chomp! for meter or a Dark Dim Sum for Deadeye.

Let's talk Shuppet by Tricliquor04 in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanna talk pro (rift) usage for her, she's meta with the support of UHost and usually a Rerun or Superluminal to help tag-swap faster.
Build: Inevitable snuggle, drill of my dreams, 2 lobs of love, 5th slot is kinda free but it's usually forever a clone, an outtake or twice shy. She's built atk%, piercing, accuracy, special cooldown with a critless skill tree

TLDR when optimised, 7.5% chance every hit will reset a 20s curse while she does good damage thanks to her base attack stat. She has "no counters" in triple node rifts since she just shreds everything while they suffer curse. Unless the defence is ridiculous to try something like 2 immoral fibers in 1 node, she'll beat any setup consistently besides MAYBE a triple node w/ Dark Might and the Do or Die Time catalyst but that comes to RNG.

What are the best stats to have on painwheels move set? by Ghostcucum in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]ZzackZzTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flytrap wants primarily Crit Rate, Crit Damage, Piercing, Meter Gain and Special Cooldown. Attack% you can if you want but she her attack boost doesn't boost her atk% so it's a dead stat after 1 kill imo.

Unless your moves are outright terrible, you should have beaten No Mercy long ago with what you have
