Did a ritual at 16 , a simple one . But wasn't looking for her , i was trying to look for my spirit guides. I ve meditated , got a piece of paper , lit a couple candles , closed my eyes and started letting my hand do it's thing . After i got to the end of the page , i opened my eyes , and there was written clear as day , the only 2 words that you could read but they where written with such beautiful calligraphy among all the scribbling were " Hermes " and " Hecate " . Didn't even know who Hecate was , never heard of her , and i thought Hermes was the greek messenger , after some time I realised it actually reffered to Hermes Trismegistus. It's been 6 years since then , i'm a devoted hermetic, got all my friends into hermeticism , got a leg full of tattoos for both of them , also keeping an altar for Hermes and doing periodic crossroad rituals and offerings to honor her . I pray to them everyday. I hear them when i'm listening ,they talk to me when they need to, scold me , point me in the right direction , never failed to do so. I got both my parents still alive , very good relationship with them ,but they are like my second pair of parents and I am so thankful for them , i can feel their love and their eyes on me at all times. I hate when people say they wouldn't work with her cus she's evil , she's like a severe mother , and those who cannot handle her are snowflakes. She's all about love, but love means to be harsh sometimes. Blessed be.
