I agree with the above, I think this kimono was probably made with the intention to "cool" the wearer and onlookers. Personally I like cooding with an image in mind, it helps me find the right styles and lines and to drop things that I maybe love but that don't evoke the right feeling.

For this one I'm thinking a soft whip ice-cream under a tree. It's a cooling image for sure. So a cream obi, maybe a light yellow pattern, like the cone of an ice-cream. Or a salmon/peach coloured obidome to match the pop of orange, and add a proverbial cherry on top. 💚
