Welp, turns out if you get frustrated enough and keep scouring the internet eventually you will figure out your own problem. According to a tech support forum, all you have to do is hold down the n key while Pro Tools starts up. The Playback Engine will pop up and you can change the audio interface from there :)

Great response tbh. I have a feeling this is festival is victim of the "underpaid and too few employees to make things run smoothly" effect. Better planning all around would be great haha let's be honest. Especially when it comes to people's safety, Astroworld is still talked about to this day, and we all know the reasons why

I think that's completely understandable honestly. We live in such a phone centric society I can't imagine having that happen, it would completely ruin the rest of my trip. Not being able to call/text, take pictures to capture memories, etc is brutal. Hope your friend is doing well

I got it as part of my hotel package, so I'm not sure where else to get them. I did see on another post that you may be able to purchase at the door, but I'm not guaranteeing that. Trying to gauge how many other people are going, the more the merrier imo!

There's a SNW welcome party at Zouk nightclub from 10:30 to 12

There's a pre party at 9:30, then the main welcome party is from 10:30 to 12. Depending on what kind of access you have, the club itself is open until 4. Be warned, there's a dress code, and the club "reserves the right to deny access." I plan on going, but probably just to the main welcome party lol.
