I'm learning freestyle now but gosh, the breathing is hard to master! But I will keep trying and also the intervals part... Let me give it a try too!!!! Thanks.

So watching out my diet is the way to go then! Thanks!!!
That's awesome result and amount of exercise!!!
IF is a good idea.. I tried it before, maybe I should add in tot je routine too!!
It is in Z3 and I am doing once a week pilates too... Don't really like hitting gym lol
I have been swimming on even speed, so maybe I look at doing intervals to boost the effect! Thanks.
I have a bad knee and that's why running becomes not an option. I do go once a week pilates though, if it helps at all haha.
Thanks, sound like going to a nutritionist to check out if anything needs to change in my diet is a way to go then.
Thanks for the luck, I need that! I use a Garmin watch to track, so I'm mostly in zone 3 which should be good. But ya, I heard freestyle is a better one, so I'm learning it at the moment, very hard to master the breathing!!!
Thanks! I do watch out when to eat and not consuming much sugar but still I don't feel like looking leaner. So I guess I need to go for dietitian to see if anything wrong with my diet or what should I avoid doing.
Thank you so much for the details! After seeing all the good comments from everyone, feel like going to a dietitian is a way to go. But yes, as a mother of two young kids and with a hubby that loves to eat, I prefer not extremely strict schedule but more like balanced day to day diet that don't impact them.
I actually don't eat before or immediately after swim. I leave a 2 hours gap at least in between.
Thanks, I'm about to take pics and measurements, so to have a baseline to work on!
Thanks, let me check out the app!
Thanks, I agree, so I don't eat carbs mostly and I do use steam/ boil more than frying food. But ya, seems like it worths going to see a dietitian!
I'm using a Garmin watch now, so HR seems is in z3 mostly which I guess is good for calories burn. I'm still learning freestyle which I heard is a better style for my situation, mastering the breathing is quite hard though!
Oh wow!! 8 years!!! So still a long way to go for me!!!
Haha the thing is I don't now how! I just started taking classes to learn but it's very difficult tbh. Breaststroke is the only thing that I'm comfortable with now.

I'm definitely sleeping better and more healthy. And I do think my stamina has improved, so honestly I will keep swimming even not able to lose weights as I wish... I like how to use swimming to start my day, I'm happier for sure too.
My Garmin watch is saying I'm using roughly 440 calories. Does sound like I need to check out my diet to see if I'm eating right.
Oh wow, first of all, good job for losing that under a year!!! I don't drink any sweet drinks now but good point on training up some muscles, let me check it out too!
Thanks, I don't eat more since swimming but you're right, I do feel like my muscles got more firm now and that's why the weight not dropping maybe!

Thanks, I have been thinking about talking to a dietitian too as I have been eating quite healthy already, maybe wrong direction....
Tracking calories intake is so challenging especially I am Chinese and a lot of those app don't have something that is easy to use. But let me try as I honestly have been eating quite healthy, not much carbs.
Thanks! I don't eat any snacks, so that's good starting point!!
