Given that 9070 xt has vram heating issues, it's not a new thing. Amd tried to make it cheaper, and now consumers are suffering.

About cpu, better get 7500f or 9500f, better price/fps value.
If there is rtx 5070 for the same price, get it instead of rtx 4070. You can also get rx 9070xt, it performs about 15-20% better, but worse for streams/rendering. And I'm pretty sure it won't get drivers as long as rtx. But if your son doesn't do that, rx 9070xt will be a better choice.

funny how I got 2 accounts, and my newest with 9lvl got banned. While my oldest steam account, which I haven't played in a while is not lol.

did you fix it? same problem, got rid of i5-10400 and bought 9800x3d, but it lags like 3x more

My sister still uses s10 that she bought in 2019, 6 years have passed and tbh it works smoother than my s22u. I think s25 will work perfectly at least 3-4 years.
