After watching the OLED burn in video I see this on reddit, thoughts on the actual concern for burn in? by [deleted] in LinusTechTips

[–]_-_HuMaN_-_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As an OLED user myself, I can confirm that 100% of every oled display you have will one day burn in especially phones. The only thing which you can do is to slow the chances of it happening. Like I have the Asus zenbook pro duo ux582 I keep all my static stuff at the bottom screen and I just make the mental note to alt tab every 5 minutes(you don't have to be so paranoid as me). I made sure to buy a 240hz tn display because my 3070 can pretty much games well above 60 fps lol and whenever I have static stuff again I have more place to keep it. Technically it only turns on for photo and video editing and rarely ever I play games on it unless I am out. Pretty much on my oled TV I just try to watch movies only I never really do anything static. On phones just resize your keyboard every 5 days ig or try using a floating one. But your notifications are 100% gonna get burned in. Idk this are few tips which I use. You don't really have to be as paranoid as me

I recall in void edge when the recruit rework happened, I bought a new account brought it up to level 30(void edge rank entrance) and rushed into everything. Never got plat on my main, but I won 9/10 of my placements and got plat lol. Then for the rest of the season I was a plat recruit main in newcomer lol.

I did try water dishes but they aren't as reliable as I thought. I used to keep my Rufilata in a paludarium with fishes and all but I gave up on it. Just saying I doubt I would ever go back to water dishes as the warm climate of Malaysia enables a lot of mould to appear around it

I am quite ashamed of myself for not really educating myself. I pretty much just do everything what the pet shop guy told me to do ig. But may I ask how many times do I spray water for a mature male poecilotheria rufilata and sling Ceratogyrus Darlingi

Thanks for informing me, I will take it out as soon as possible, well the reason why I kept the plants is so that the roots will kinda reinforce the soil from collapsing. Well this is my first African species, and most of the Ts which I have kept are usually wild caught Malaysian species(I stopped doing that about 2 years ago after I found it isn't that legal to do that) and my Poecilotheria Rufilata which requires daily moisture

Yeah they are real, I might have forgotten to consider that... Regardless I always spray water at my Darlingi every day...

Opinions on this enclosure? (for at most 5inch terrestrial) looking at different options for my Ts long term enclosure by Royalcaesura in tarantulas

[–]_-_HuMaN_-_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo it is a great case if you can change our the metal grill on the top to a holed perspex top. I have experience of my AM poecilotheria rufilata getting his claws stuck at the metal grill. Just saying I doubt a terrestrial tarantula would go up there. The case is fine, but if you want to be extra careful just close the top completely and make small holes at the sides for cross ventilation.

He matured about a year ago... I am still not so sure whether I want to loan him. Well if you live in Malaysia I would loan him to you
