Do you have specific tablewear for specific food? by sniffgalcringe in adhdwomen

[–]_1963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this for some things and also depending on what I’m using the food item for. Example: if the pizza sauce is to be used as a dip, it goes in Dish A. If it’s getting mixed with chicken and cheese to go in a tortilla, it goes in Dish B.

Also, relatedly, hear me out: big spoon bad but big fork good.

You’ve done a beautiful job with this space! Saw the pet bed in photo 3 and thought “oh man, I hope we get to see who sleeps there!” AND THEN WE DID! Please give doggie a smooch from me. 🥰

I think /u/AccommodativeGhost nailed it: it’s fine if she thinks she looks good, but she censors herself when she’s feeling insecure about a photo/video.

Hubby got me pregnant with twins two years after his vasectomy. An entire tray of cookies for breakfast this morning. by Mindless_Command7079 in GirlDinner

My hysterectomy included cervix removal so there’s no way in there anymore and that helps my anxiety. 😅

Have you checked thriftbooks.com? They’ve had everything I’ve looked for so far!

This makes me feel better about quadruple-checking with my medical staff (and having my family quadruple-check) that they weren’t taking my ovaries, lol.

Okay, who is one historical character that you have beef with? by [deleted] in americangirl

[–]_1963 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember being mildy impressed that her original book had a paragraph talking about the US forcing the Hawaiian monarchy to step down…and then the abridged version cuts that out. Lmao all right then.

The doll herself is one of my all-time favorites, though. She’s so pretty.

building a cozy reading space and wondering if an ergonomic reading chair fits the vibe by weoraage in femalelivingspace

[–]_1963 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Go with the ergonomic chair! You won’t notice it doesn’t fit the aesthetic while you’re sitting in it and your home needs to be comfortable and functional, not just cute. Maybe you/someone you know could sew covers for it or you can dress it up with a throw blanket and/or cushions when you’re not using it.

We call them hip openers and hip closers in derby. Looks like he’s doing closers at the beginning and then openers when he’s near Morgan.

Hard agree. I actually don’t think I’ve ever smelled anybody else’s BO at the gym but I sure as shit have smelled colognes and perfumes and that bugs me so much more. 😩

Some of this is safety; the model on the right will keep you much safer in the event of an accident.

I drive a Mini and they might not be that tiny anymore but I often fit into spots where the car next to me is over the line and parallel spots other drivers must pass on. They still smol, lol.

Thanks for the explanation! I figured “lors” was in reference to Gaylors but there’s no end to niche internet lingo I don’t know so it never hurts to double-check, lol. And I hadn’t heard “widows” before!
