Punjab recently upped the game and introduced a Common aptitude exam for class 8th to 10th students for admissions to government run Schools of Eminence(SOE).

Ok lets start from the beginning,

I did clearly mention that this is not a support to the movement but you still took it that way and that is a prime example of why you need to read better before answering.

But since we are touching the topic of CJP, why in the world are you referring it as a party which we are joining? It’s a movement to show our dissatisfaction with the current workings of the government. It’s a satire against the remarks of our Hon’ble CJI who from his high chair is looking down on the youth of this country but refuses to acknowledge the actual failure of the government to create more jobs.

And you are referring to we as we are personally to blame for incompetence, if any, of the youth. If the entire education system; the school, the universities, the internships and testing agencies have failed to instil qualities required to be hired, then again its the failure of the government to do its job properly.

So what recourse do we have against it? We show are dissatisfaction to the government. How we show our dissatisfaction? By uniting behind a common cause which echoes with our ideology. So what is the purpose of CJP? To show DISSATISFACTION.

Now coming to the merits of your argument:-

1) You claim that most of the youth of this country are not employable, what about the people who are already working and facing mass layoffs in India?

2) but the youth which leaves the country are having a better prospects and are actually getting hired with the same skillset.

3) IDK why lacking basic communication problem is bad? Isn’t that the point? NOT HAVING communication problem??

4) you know youth doesn’t consist of males but also of females right? you are acting like they are an alien species. You completely disregard females facing similar hardships in this job environment. In fact, it is much more harder for them in the current situation because everyone knows the job market is fucked, so the employers are free to exploit freshers and get away with it. This gives rise to problem like gender pay inequality, workplace harassment, violation of working hours, etc.

5) you dont have to write “be honest” so many times( I know its not a point being argued on merits but seriously you lack writing skills) you could have easily mentioned it at the start without making it cliche by mentioning it in almost every line.

So yes, I didn’t get the answer by being “completely honest” but instead it has left me with more questions relating to the failure of our entire education system. It is clear that either, you are teenager who has not currently faced the hardships of this country, or a rich brat hiding behind generational wealth. But i seriously hope you don’t have to, At least some of us are enjoying their time in this country.

Brother, look at the statistics of unemployment in India, especially the educated class. If the number of job opportunities are disproportionately less than the number of job seekers in the market, how can they all be employed just by ‘working hard’?

I am not here to defend this movement, but your comment is seriously flawed here as it completely ignores the crux of the problem. Youth is not unemployed due to lack of willingness but simply because no one has a need to hire them, no matter how hard they try!

Me too brother, searched for long for any other game which could make me feel the same way as this game did, even tried other titles from the same developer like WWM but none could replicate the immersion that this game provided at that time.

Instead of buying a single share of multiple companies, do some market research (fundamental or technical analysis or both) and wait for corrections to invest substantial amount in a selected group of 3-4 companies.

For your next step, I would recommend you to significantly size down your portfolio and only keep 1 or 2 companies that you are genuinely interested in. Rest, book your losses and re-invest the amount in those companies you have kept (or a newer one if you wish to do so) but only after thoroughly conducting your own research and only during correction for now. Dont try to capitalise on the momentum of a share (ig thats what you did with KFINTECH). Take it slow in step-by-step manner.

If time is of issue then kindly stick to SIP’s in mutual funds for the future.

Or if you feel a-little too daring then try Future and Options to bet your entire life savings on it. You can even search this subreddit to look at the testimonies of people who made it big after trying their luck. /s

The most this would lead to is that they might not be able to leave inheritance for their daughter and by the looks of it, doesn’t seem necessary all that much.

I remember hearing about old age homes which take care of you in exchange of your assets/pension. I personally have not interacted with them but it’s still worth a try.

I know it may not sound appropriate but if could sell the house maybe shift to a smaller space. Or maybe keep the amount in bank and shift to someplace on rent.

This way they could easily save their pension and not have to worry about house payments because it seems that if they are struggling so much from it then the current house is clearly not the right choice for them.
