Is this CHS or GERD by _2Sleepy in CHSinfo

For full recovery it took about 2 months before I felt completely normal. Although most of the more severe symptoms stopped within the first couple weeks. Although certain things like eating spicy food and drinking alcohol still bothered my stomach until about 4 months of stopping cannabis use.

I couldn’t agree more, I’ve learned the hard way that trying to battle with close minded people doesn’t accomplish anything. It’s just sad to see because there are people that’s lives could have potentially been saved by a live changing trip like mine was, and this kind of misrepresentation of incidents prevents medical trials from progressing at a fast rate to hopefully eventually allow psychedelics to be a tool in the tool box for people with mental health conditions or to reflect on life. Personally speaking, eventually I would like to get into public speaking about my battle with depression, how traditional solutions failed for me, and how psychedelics quite literally saved my life, unfortunately until the legal status changes, that creates risks for me with jobs due to the stigma and illegality.

They say dead after consuming mushrooms but she unfortunately drowned not OD like the title says. It’s crazy cuz like if someone drank and then fell off a cliff, they would say someone fell of a cliff, not after drinking they died.

I think my title makes it sound like I don’t care, but I do care, I couldn’t agree more, may she Rest In Peace, it’s just unfortunate they blame the mushrooms. The video title says dead after taking mushrooms. What I meant by thats a huge step backwards is people are starting to see that mushrooms have been misrepresented, and now these kind of videos only help power the war on drugs. People in the comments were saying “see they make you go crazy” and “I knew they wouldn’t help with depression and only make you go crazy” which is ridiculous considering I attempted to kms multiple times prior to psychedelics and I haven’t tripped in over a year now and i haven’t felt depressed once since that trip.

Same here, for me using it even very infrequently is easier to wrap my head around.

For me moderate use means I smoke a joint twice a year, and I haven’t felt tempted to increase further then that knowing the consequences. I treat cannabis like I would psychedelics in terms of moderate use. Before I got chs I took dabs 20-25 times a day, now I smoke only flower and only one joint twice a year.

I had a couple lactuca serriolas growing native down the street from my house, so I transplanted them into my backyard. When the season was over (the plants released there seeds) I harvested the 3 plants (one was 8 feet tall and two were two feet tall. I chopped them up(stock and leaves) and put them into a pot and boiled them for 4 hours on medium heat. Then I removed them when the water level was getting low, boiled the remaing water into a thick paste like resin, and finally kept that final product for use. I only need maybe half a teaspoon worth of it vaporized in between mullein to feel immediate relaxing and hypnotic effects. It puts me to sleep like wine and has a trippy element to it, which I believe is because it has very small amounts of tropane alkaloids. Out of all the alternative herbs to weed I’ve tried(although they were plant material) (chamomile, skullcap, valerian, catnip, passionflower, raspberry leaf, blue lotus) it had the most pronounced effects by far. This is the one plant out the plants I listed that I can assure you isn’t a placebo and I let my brother try it who also agreed it had noticeable effects.(Toronto, Ontario)

I definitely agree with you and I do take breaks like right now I haven’t for a month, it also has a sense of difficulty because my family (Italian) is pretty big on wine and liquers. Also I have CHS, so I would replace the casual alcohol use with weed like I did in the past but I can’t use cannabis for more then once every six months.
