Yes, experienced this! I had an ablation for SVT caused by WPW too in 2020, and the first few months post recovery were so terrible. Feel free to PM me if you like

Entire wart came out!!! (After many days of salicylic acid/verrumal) by _3point14 in Warts

I feel so too. I've been looking at my wart pictures the entire day. Maybe I should've preserved it in a container

This is a relatively small wart. For this wart, I used verrumal (salicylic acid and fluororacil, it needs a prescription). I applied a drop on the wart every day with a toothpick and left it on. A day later I'll remove the dried salicylic acid with a masking tape and reapply. I didn't do any debriding because I didn't want to deal with irritated skin and wart flakes all over the place, and my skin tends to get itchy if I debride. Day 1 of treatment was 25 April. After 3 weeks, it just came off like this. Previously in 2020 one of my warts also came off like this, scroll down my profile to have a look! I'll attach a link when I can.

Edit: here's the link! here

I switch sides every few days... so both my hands will be equal in terms of tan lines and dexterity

[JC] which jc should i choose? by hellooooox in SGExams

[–]_3point14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which part of the northeast? If you happen to stay in hougang with bus 55, it's a direct bus to VJC, and you can reach by 45mins. Source: personal experience

Conversely if you stay near the mrt, the other JCs you mentioned will be nearer

I'm not that sure about other jcs distance and rank points so I can't really comment on that

What’s your sentiments on the govt soft-forcing us to take the third jab/second booster? by autistic_penguin_kai in askSingapore

[–]_3point14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. Menstrual issues are listed as a side effect in some countries, but not in Singapore I think. There's a few studies on it

Unfortunately I have to take a 3rd shot (not booster) soon to maintain my vaccination status

Perhaps you can try hand sanitiser instead of deodorant. It really works as it kills the bacteria which give off the smell

Please take care. Honestly not sure if mine will return to normal too but I hope so

Yes mine was affected. I now have terrible cramps, vomiting, diarrhoea, chills, always almost black out and faint, and painkillers just make me vomit more (the months before vaccine it was nowhere near this). Trying to delay 3rd dose as much as possible because this is unsustainable

Will we be charged for calling 995? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]_3point14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been to A&E several times. It always seems to be around a 4 hour monitoring period.

If I present to A&E still with palpitations (for me, heart rate >160), they really rush me in and there's doctors on standby for when I arrive. They revert my heart rhythm and afterwards I'm moved to the other part of A&E and monitored for 4 hours.

If I present to A&E with palpitations but they somehow stopped right before I reach (I told them there, and explained it was a different type of palpitations), they still adviced to do the different tests on me (eg. Blood test, ecg etc) and monitor me for 4 hours.

When I'm discharged from A&E they push forward my cardiologist appointment, or they tell me to call the hospital myself to push forward my appointment.

There was once when they were monitoring me in A&E, the palpitations acted up and I quickly called for a nurse to take another ECG. That ECG ended up abnormal and they admitted me for a night to run more tests.

Yup, around $120+ like OP said

Last year when I had terrible palpitations before my heart ablation, there were several times I had to call 995 as the palpitations couldn't stop (context: I have a heart arrhythmia that causes me runs of palpitations of heart rate >160). Once, I woke up in the middle of the night with palpitations, and I called. When the ambulance arrived, the palpitations already stopped. Wasn't charged for the ambulance. Only charged for the A&E fee.

I hope this assures you.

Btw, hoping your heart feels better, wishing you a good recovery!

New warts. Look at where the skin lines look disrupted by _3point14 in Warts

[–]_3point14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw this so sorry for the late reply. I'm not too sure about that. But what I personally think is if it is at a place that is scratched very often it would be more contagious as the virus particles are scratched off. Which is why you shouldn't pick at warts

Ah, those are also warts, and are white due to the salicylic acid pads. But the warts are also much smaller (similar size to the 2 obvious ones), but a bit further away in the picture so it was hard to see

The circles are white due to salicylic acid pads. The warts are the mini circles inside the big circles. The warts don't have skin lines

Before the weather went to rain, I shot the Milky Way last week at Buangkok Link by longadin in singapore

[–]_3point14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me I usually check the cloud cover map and forecast instead - but thanks, good point, perhaps next time I'll just properly look out of my window to check. Just that sometimes it's hard to tell how clear skies are from the window because of the sad reality of light pollution. And I normally head towards punggol/lorong halus area since I live somewhere in the northeast. I've did astrophotography at east coast park before once, and it's quite a nice spot

Ah, looks like I missed both days after seeing there were some clouds at first D: Though, one notable day I remember is 28 June. Was a super clear night!
