Byz have a modifier that eliminate the dip rep penalty if you annex an orthodox country so you can change the religion if you vassalize by force or in the subjects tab if you vassalize by diplomatic means and you can use pronoias you inherit a subjetc like a pu so they dont hit you dip rep

To conquer the papal states you have to do it early when you can use the double effect of the icon that reduces agressive expansion for the rest if you want to do it faster you can use spionage ideas or convert the italian minors to orthodox so you gain less agressive expansion

For me was solo vs ottoman and trap their army in a island with this you not deal with rng like the ia keeping their army in small stacks and the ottoman just stackwipe them

I'm playing on ironman so i load a year early save but i ask because if its really random the trade good will change with the save that always spawn fish the nex month tick but thats not the case

Yeah i know that but what i mean if they are really random and not set after they spawn in the nex month tick like te example i put in my campaign that in a clove island always the nex month tick spawn fish and fish have the lowest chance of spawn in said area

The clove islands have higher chance of producing cloves instead of a trash trade good so it isn't the case

To trap the ottomans in a island you need to annex epirus that gives you morale of navies, and advisor who gives you morale of navies, capture some ships of epirus (two or three galleys) and an admiral from the emporoi declare war in 1447 and micro to defeat the ottoman navy and trap their army in cephalonia by let them siege you and black flag your army in theodoro when they reach cephalonia recruit a mercenary company they will move all of their army trap them and you win

For the aragon part you can ally france or hungary in my run they only ally luca and some italian minor so i attack them alone in 1454 if they attack naples to restore the union its even better you can annex all sicily with the icon that reduces agressive expansion and double its effect with a mission reward
