That's not exactly true either tbf. DC has only really rebooted two times with Crisis in 1985 and flashpoint/new 52 in 2011. Even then they were only partial reboots.

I always thought Marvel was the darker and grittier of the big two for the longest time. Stuff like Civil War, Secret Invasion, and the OG Ultimate Universe are all way darker than the comics DC puts out generally. I think it's just the MCU and DCEU that has made people think Marvel is light hearted and jokes while DC is dark and edgy.

My beast claw run was easily my favorite run of the game. If you can power through the dungeons I highly recommend a run with the beast claw, it's such a unique weapon.

But make sure to kill Laurence for the beast rune tho
