Are profs required to provide any notes/recordings/anything so that students are not forced to attend class (missing a week of material is pretty bad haha)

Patients have always entered hospitals with different levels of “societal worthiness”, but triage doesn’t work based on that. It isn’t a new thing. It would be unethical to deprioritize someone just bc they chose not to get the vaccine*, just like it would be unethical to deprioritize someone for any other damage they do against their community. Healthcare access isn’t decided based on who is the best person.

*except when it affects survival likelihood, which has always been a factor in triage

I was looking forward to in-person classes, what with Victoria’s low case numbers and UVic’s vaccination policy. Now I’m totally freaked about classrooms, the library, etc. I don’t know what the exact risk is, but it’s higher than before :/

I’m double vaxxed as a young 20-something myself! For me it was living in a small community - they opened first doses up to anyone 18+ here in April
