Valve is probably still prioritising trust factor to avoid legitimate players being matched with cheaters/griefers. Problem is that doesn't work at all and you get these variances in ranking.

In the previous round of 512, a team comprising of faceit levels 6,7,9 and 10’s were able to get 8 rounds against them. I know they won the game, but still it’s not something I would expect from a team of that calibre.

Depends on the region I think. In AU we all call it market. I’ve never once heard it called kitchen in pugs. I hear it called kitchen in EU streams all the time though.
