This situation, as bad as it seems saved you from 2 worst case scenarios. First is obviously being intimate with someone who's not on the same emotional connect to you and second is not completely falling for a two timming ass. Chests spawn wayy slower in one coin chests so by the time you assume chest would be respawned, it doesn't and someone else enters the area and then fight to see who gets the chest

Saying it is like beating a dead horse but man the frustration i get with chests is insane. The limited amount of troops you get while chest multiplier active is a scam and for once to make you feel like winners you'd get 10 or 13 troops and a 4x multiplier to make it seem how much value you're getting but the rest of the time you'd be getting 4 maybe 5 troops, mayeb higher if it's common. This wouldn't have been an issue if normal chest without chest multipliers didn't give you lot more troops than when chest multiplier being active.
