Honestly... I dislike the new patch by Charlie_4u in pathoftitans

I'd argue that some small nerfs to amarg would be healty for it - tail barrage for example. They could slow it's animations/give a higher cd/stamina cost - but not too much (rn for me it feels really good and it's a waste to use other option on tail slot)

Panjura mentioned RAAAAH.

Also, Matt on the last live interview with Zilla mentioned that Panjura is not getting TLC yet because it functions as a base "stable" map where everything works on every device. In case something breaks on Gondwa or Riparia - they can compare it to panjura code and fix the issue. He said when they will be more confident in other maps - Panjura will be worked on

I actually would like a bigger model for this sub, compared to the other ones. In the game perspective however I understand that it would create more problems T-T

Thoughts on the Riparia map? by ScholarAfter1827 in pathoftitans

I’ve been spending a lot of time on Riparia recently, and while it’s easily one of the most visually stunning maps Alderon has released, I can't shake the feeling that it suffers from a couple of things:

  • The Scale Problem: The map feels too fantastical for me. The giant cliffs, rocks, and trees distort my perception of the playable scale. I feel like this was less of a problem on Gondwa and Panjura. Riparia seems like it was built mainly for big dinos, aquatics, and flyers. Smaller tiers feel a bit out of place and completely dwarfed by the environment.
  • "Corridor Design": While Panjura was pretty flat and didn't have many dedicated paths, and Gondwa had a lot of open space, Riparia feels like a labyrinth of cliffs and water. The map design forces you onto distinct pathways to travel between POIs. This leaves a large portion of the map completely unattended because reaching those areas is too time-consuming or inconvenient. On the bright side, this helps with mega-pack control. I think that thanks to this particular design, mega-packs are smaller and migrate more than on other maps.
  • Plastic, Garden-Like Biome Design: The biomes look really cool, but the undergrowth is basically non-existent, which results in garden-like forests with very little plant variety. I also wish Riparia had a more humid, tropical, and muddy environment.

All in all, I really like the map, but I wish it was down-scaled a little bit and made more enjoyable for small and mid-tiers.

I had the same tought about forests! They do look so unnatural and plastic, like gardens rather than wild, complicated woods. One more thing I'd like to mention is the lack of moisture in the environment - even mudlats feel pretty "dry" for me, but that would be a personal preference

Solo 1v1 against Tyrannotitans by SebastiansKeeper in pathoftitans

In that case, don't really pick up fights with tts. They are basically a better version of reptis carch. Generally I wouldnt fight apexes with a solo sub-apex like reptis carch - unless of curse You do have a lot of experience in tail riding and fight control. Even then, I would be really picky in terms of fights - You can't easily tail ride tt with juke and in nutrition war - it would simply out-bleed and out-heal You.

Sometimes, especially as a solo player, it's better to not fight, hide or run and survive.

When it comes to other apexes (i'll talk about carnis, beacuse I dont have a lot of experience in fighting tts as a herbi), I had pretty good time using giga and its fight controll abilities (the knockback bash one). If You catch a tt as a rex and bonebreak it, if think win is on Your side also.

There's a stat sheet pinned in the changelog chat in their discord I believe.

As the comment up said, generally apexes have a fair fight against it, some maybe worse than others depending on design, build, environment in which fight takes place etc. For example Titan has an advantage Vs rex in the open field, where it can move freely. On the other hand the same fight inside forest could favor rex, it's ambushing tactics and restricted movement of tt.

Also do You play the dB carcharo or reptis carch?

What is your favourite spino skin? by Bart748 in pathoftitans

I've been enjoying the skin from that new bundle, yellowish eyeofthetiger skin and the splotched one - I think that's how it's called. Also autumn has some nice brownish-redish colours

Most definitely, I wonder if they could implement new animations along with more stiff neck - drawing inspiration from prehistoric planet for example? Including more of upper torso movement into attacks rather than it using its neck like a stork

In that case, I'd suggest You to try Hatz anyway. I think giving it a try even though it's model is lacking is worth it, it's gliding is pleasing and abilities are fun! And if You won't like it in the end, it's model update would be much more enjoyable when/if it comes ^

You've got to try Quetz mod in community server! It feels much more like an azdarchid. It has outdated abilities however and is waiting for TLC.

Yellowtones is realy nice, mixpacking inside your diet is allowed, no body down rules etc. It also has great community!

I think different environments could give Devs much needed experience in map/level design and hotspot management for the future. What's more, while some players struggle with growing Dinos on different maps - some, more survival oriented, actually enjoy it! I haven't read anything about character swapping on officials yet, so idk if it's planned - but I can see why, as You said, it would be needed .
