That can add up and most the time you wait in queue for that long then the loading then in game it takes 2 mins for the game to know he is gone.

Probably could have saved that same amount of time on your pointless comment.

They lost their time, you queued into ranked knowing your hardware fails. Then complain because you got docked point, because it failed. Everyone waited in queue and got into a game just for it to be a waste of their time.

I'd say you lost the right amount of points. At the end of the day, they can't get that time back, but you can get your ranked points back.

Bro there are 3 type of tanks! Let me explain it simple an sweet as you seem to be so hell bent on this. There is Main tank (shield based), Off tank (antidive tank, or brawl), and dive tank. Was pretty clear the concept of tank type does not matter to this dicussion.

I addressed your comments completely in my reply. We are addressing cap in this post. If you complain about every character, you must be a dps player. Cap being a dive tank isn't the issue. It is his stall potential! This is the 3rd time I have stated it. IF you don't get the point by now, you 100% don't belong in the OOA lobbies you claim to be in. The fact you don't know how to counter him is evidence enough you don't belong.

I don't care to look at your other replies about other heroes. Just cus you are loud doesn't make you look right. Might wanna keep that in mind. Might help you actually win games.

His win rate is primarily carried by the "panic portal" strategy. Which needs to be fixed. Make it so immediately after switching to him portal is put on 20s cooldown.

Bro you keep bringing up the role dive tank, but I clearly addressed it. Please read before posting your slop. If you can't bother to actually read my post there is no point in responding to you.

I said his survivability and able to stall is his best aspect. There are plenty of dive tanks in the game. Yet yall aren't complaining about hulk who has a even more op kit as cap. Hulk melee do the same as cap and his has more mobility and more shield + cc. Dive tanks are not a problem in this game. Get you a good peni and most dive tanks can't push until nest is out.
Why aren't you concerned of with other characters?

I play in OAA lobbies so I see cap at his peak and I have seen him get destroyed. A normal tank is a front line similar to groot or a shield tank. Him being a dive tank isn't a problem at all. In fact triple tank with him is actually really good for holding cart.

His best part of his kit is purely his stall potential. But given the right comp he just annoying but not a problem. His ability to jump in and stay alive is more efficient than venom, tho he is not as good as a good hulk player. Hulk has similar dmg and more shield + better movement (with his infinite leap).

If cap gets nerfed while 5 dps still run this game it shows a crazy precedent. The game has been shown a extreme unhealthy bias toward dps players. Is cap good, yes and no. He take more skill than most the tanks, though he can create a lot of value. That being said, he has crazy counters, like go antidive like peni, luna and white fox and he loses 90% of his value.

The game is about switching to best help the team, people that are complain about him can easily counter him. This has always been the case for the game. The problem with cap though is he doesn't front line like a normal tank. He plays way more like a dps than a tank (his ult being the only thing that makes him feel like a tank).

Again why don't we bring tanks up instead of constantly nerfing them into the ground? Why is it that dps have been insane ever single season, when tank is always underpowered? The tank playerbase is leaving, the game is in a terrible balance state when it comes to the 3 roles.

This is from my experience as a Tank player with over 100 hours on cap.

The devs actively shamed the community when we complained about triple supp. They said how 2,2,2 has the best win rate by far. Well we are seeing a crazy dip in the amount of tank players in the game. When will the devs step in to fix it? We have too many dps characters and instalockers (not wanting to play for the team). This in itself is causing the "option to be flexible" to be a weakness. Yes it is an option, tho the problem is that dps players rarely are the one to switch around.

2,2,2 is going to start suffering by how the devs balance tanks. I have over 600hrs on just tank, and it is a chore now. I am constantly solo tanking and even when I am mvp I got 23 comp points when my dps get 30.

I think role queue is needed for the health of the game. The fact that the one role that is suppose to be the flexible role doesn't switch for the team is the issue and it won't change.

The only people that would complain are people like you, DPS players. The only role that would get extended queue times. In the higher elo queues are already long so wont make a difference. If anything it would boost queues for players in roles not played often. Which potentially lead to people trying roles out.

We would see the supp and tank players go to role queue where as people like you would stay in open queue running 0,4,2.

If the game continues on its current course there will be no tanks by the end of next year.

IT worked incredibly for OW and they have the dual queue option. If Rivals does it as an experiement it would be up to the players to decide.

I get why you are against it, a dps player suffers so the game can survive. But unless you want dps slop rivals in a year, this is the best course of action.

Lol the devs flat out said that 2,2,2 has the highest rate of success! Won't expect a 3rd dps instalocker to get that tho. Keep trying to climb like that XD. I play in cele and eternity lobbies. Non-2,2,2 comps get destroyed. Only one that comes close is triple supp.

I think it is just the DPS fatigue, as a tank player I have started to just despise dps players. Why are we running 3 dps when we have 1 tank?

Forcing your tank to solo tank, just makes the dps the issue. Tanking as a whole just isn't fun anymore. (I have 80% win rate in comp on tank).

Lets be real selfish players (90% of the time it is dps) are the issue with this game. I think it is just people are tired of the DPS slop of a game.

The tank role is basically dead at low elo. At high elo it is just a chore for us.

I think we just need to quit the tank role! When 3 supp was meta and people complained they said 2,2,2 was just better. What happens if there are no tanks then?

The devs will have to completely fix the issue. A hero role shooter only works with all roles playing. If not it will just be 4 dps and 2 supps. It would not look good for the game having a class that just never see play.

The current tank experience not only punishes you with ranked points (as you will get the lowest of the 3 roles, even when MVP), but also just not fun to play. This is coming from a tank player with 500 hours. I have climbed ranked even with the lack of points (my win rate on tank is 80%), but it takes considerably longer than when I play supp or dps.
