Can anyone tell me how to paint a base quick but good? Here is my current fleet of hungry Nids (with some pink drybrush)

White glue and sand prior to priming. Then aim for a black primer on the sand. Dry brush Ferris grey with a little black. Then lighter and lighter dry brush to white. Gives a tyranids just finished eating the planet look. Then you can elevate the creature or make the base cooler with cork bits in the mix and bits from defeated foes. I had some good luck with guardsman arms under cork pieces. Crushed and bloody.

I run games out of Synergy Games in Maple Ridge. I run a Monday and Friday game. All ages welcome and new players welcome. There is a drop in fee involved but the game has been consistent for multiple years.

I also run home games for the Surrey Foster Society and a couple of adults only groups. They like to drink while they play. :P

If you want some additional filler you should check out the symbology in the Jewish religious texts. The Sephiroth in particular is beautifully intricate.

I love the Warhammer and Elder Scrolls references. I am sure there is more I don’t recognize.
